« The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. We have stayed at lots of homes as an extended family group and this was great, with a good location. Only criticism would be that 9:30am is the...

« Our party comprised 4 adults and a small dog. The cottage has mountain views from every window. It is spacious and clean. Our only neighbours were sheep! It is an easy walk into Keswick, on a good footpath. We loved our stay and hope to come again. »

« The cottage is very well equipped, has great views and a comfortable lounge. Despite feeling away from it all you are only a 10 minute drive from Keswick (and also has a good bus service if you want to leave the car behind). We took an amazing bus ride over the Whinlatter pass to Buttermere then on over the Honister pass and up the valley alongside Derwent Water. « The property is finished to an amazing quality with so much space. We loved our stay. We particularly liked the quiet spot but still close to walking and Keswick. A real retreat away from our busy lives. Thanks Rachel you were a great host. »

« This property is exactly as described… in a beautiful location! 7 family members stayed as a treat for my mums 80th birthday! She loved it from the family breakfast near the Aga to the evenings in watching films and playing games ( left by the host) with roaring fires in either sitting room… hogged by the dogs. Thank you for a lovely long Easter weekend. Definitely would love to go back soon.. »

« Delightful country home with excellent communal areas. The kitchen was ideal for us. We’d love to cook and spend time at a big table and it was warm and cozy and friendly and cheerful.
