« Nous avons énormément apprécié ce séjour dans cet hôtel SPA historique de la merveilleuse ville de Buxton. Tout était parfait. La chambre était très confortable, très bien équipée. La partie SPA est très vaste avec 3 bassins dont un a un accès extérieur, 3 saunas différents, un haman. Enfin le petit déjeuner continental et/ou anglais est excellent. Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement. »

« Accueil très chaleureux. Piscine marqué compris dans la chambre sur hôtel.com est très chère (25£ tôt le matin £60 le reste de la journée et il faut réserver). Toilettes pas propre en arrivant, bichon d'évier cassé et fuite dans le bain. Restaurant en sous effectif et la serveuse n'était pas au courant des produits. Menu très limitée et pas possible de mettre le repas sur la chambre. Odeur de friture dans la chambre et très bruyant. Pas possible de balader autour de l'hôtel. »

« Our room on the second floor was clean and had blinds to keep out the light at night. It was adequate but, no doubt to keep in style with being the oldest hotel in Great Britain, it wishes to retain an oldie worldie charm so the decor may appear outdated. Our bathroom could do with a revamp as the toilet seat was loose and one of the shower heads was leaking and wouldn't stay in position. « From checking in to checking out the experience was first class. The staff were warm and welcoming with a professional and friendly attitude. « One night in that hotel. Convenient as the car park is large and free. My room was a bit close to the main road so not quiet. Bed + bathroom very good. Wifi working well. Good restaurant at reasonable prices. Supermarket next door if you need to refuel. »

« Booked here for mine and my partners 2nd anniversary! Room was bigger than I thought! (Good thing) Nice and clean! Air-conditioning which was a life saver with the weather at the moment! Ended up having a Sunday lunch at the pub next door to the rooms and it was the best Sunday lunch I've had out! Staff we're great and attentive! Would definitely return! »

« The hotel is going through updating, the swimming pool was ok, the room was very dated, the bath panel was broken but all we wanted was a bed for 1 night. When we left one if the updated rooms was open and I must say they looked beautiful. When this hotel is finished I'm quite sure it will be of good standard. »

« We stayed in a beautiful hive which was nicely done and the hotel itself was beautiful. We were disappointed not to have a bath or to be able to use any the sauna facilities and that whole building seemed to be in the midst of renovation. We were also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included and that when we ordered English breakfasts we didn’t get any toast and when we asked for some were then charged £2.50 per slice. I feedback when we departed that I was not impressed but nothing was done...
