« Staff, room, breakfast was great »

« Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. »

« Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

« Lovely spot, easy to get to and easy to walk from there to everywhere in town. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay while we were in town for a friend's wedding. Thank you! »

« The host was very adamant about his 20 page report, which was riddled with useless information. Including a paragraphs about his plights on maintaining the property with snow storms in the hurricane. When I called him because the directions were unclear he had a bad attitude.I’d strongly recommend shortening the instructions and deleting duplicate information on the 20 page thesis. Also, if you don’t have the capacity to treat your guests with a good attitude, you may want to look at a property...
