My family and I recently stayed at the hotel while visiting the Des Moines area for a family wedding. Not only was it a beautiful hotel and a very comfortable room, the staff was so pleasant and helpful whenever we had questions. We loved the breakfast buffet at Johnny’s Steakhouse, it was so delicious! And we really liked how centrally located it was for other dining and shopping in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, and I would stay here again the next time I’m in town.

First Rewind stay
Check in was easy. Unfortunately when I was trying to connect to Wi-Fi, I had problems. Turned out that when I checked in it did not show that I did check in. So my Wi-Fi would not work. They compensated me for one free drink and free breakfast the next morning. My room was large and very nice. My breakfast the next morning was wonderful.

Our room was quite comfortable and very clean. The restaurant inside the hotel is excellent and worth a visit, even if you're not staying at the hotel. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were friendly and courteous.

Room was amazing bed was comfortable pillows were not my style but I always bring my own shower was amazing! Even my 6 yr old praised the shower and the room!

Stay here!!
My son had a basketball tournament in Des Moines. One word : PERFECT. Loved this place. Clean, comfy, spacious suite. Near lots of shopping and restaurants. This will be our go to every single time we go to Des Moines. Only complaint if I'm nit picking would be the pool was cold for our kids. Other than that, amazing place. Steakhouse was amazing as well.

fire alarm went off at 11:30pm and didn't get reset till 12:30 am firetrucks showed up I guess it was some sort of malfunction but had to spend part of the night out in car in the cold not exactly relaxing did get a half off comp for the trouble though

We had a mechanical malfunction with our sprinkler system and we were unable to silence that alarm until the emergency response tech was on property to get the system properly restored. Stayed for an overnight event with family in the area. We arrived late in the evening but still received friendly service at check-in. Property is clean and parking is very convenient. It is also close to shopping and coffee places. The room was very clean. The sheets were immaculate and the bathroom was well-stocked and clean. We will stay here again.

The hot tub was closed and the pool was cold so both of those amenities was the main reason for staying there. The hotel besides that was beauitful and loved the decor!!
