I enjoyed the location. It seemed fairly central to alot of nearby entertainment. The lobby however reminded me of a kennel which i understand had to do with being dog friendly but i felt there could be extra steps involved with keeping it at least smelling cleaner. The only other thing i could say is the upfront deposit was high aswell as a non itemized return of said deposit after days of waiting

Disappointing stay. Hotel is aging, not as nice as other Kimptons, room a weird shape and size and looked out into a parking garage. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Great location. Hotel is a touch dated, but was still a great option for 1 night in Denver. Small things: water pressure in shower was weak, the television should be updated - it was a struggle to use, they could add a bluetooth speaker to the rooms, the elevators need to be redone. Everyone was incredibly courteous and kind, loved the free wine hour from 5-6 pm and then also the free nightcap from 8-10 pm. Overall a good stay with a solid price to match.

Terrible experience.
Check in time is 3 and we had to wait until 4:30 to check in. The next night, Pres. Biden stayed at the hotel and we had to go thru crazy security, were not allowed to leave our room nor were we allowed to eat. It was AWFUL....and no one said a thing to us. We had to leave our car in the middle of a protest.....It was an incredibly awful experience.

Great location in the centre of Denver, and quite beautifully appointed. The service in the restaurant was great, as was the food. The 'happy hour' rates for drinks and food was great value. The poor service/engagement of the check in was disappointing, we were not made to feel welcome. The lack of facilities in the room (no coffee/tea making ability, no ability to order room service, no clock) made this a very expensive stay. I expect more when I am paying nearly $600 USD a night for a hotel room, even in Denver.

Nice hotel in a not so great area. Dirty & smelly outside, not the hotels fault. Tons of construction everywhere which was annoying as a tourist. I felt safe walking from train station area at night despite obvious homeless people around though. Room was perfect for 4 people, high ceilings and lots of space.

Overpriced for the experience
The staff was wonderful! The hotel itself was disappointing. Our room was small, with one corner window facing the parking garage and overlooking a roof of equipment and bird droppings. The rug was coming up by the edge of the wall. I wouldn't mind any of that if the price point matched - but that was WAY too expensive to look at a parking garage.

The original room I was given was awful, like a dungeon! Window was literally feet away from a parking garage, where if the shade was open, cars and people would be looking right into your window! And No sunlight at all. Buyers beware! However, I asked for a room change and was given a beautiful, spacious, comfy room.

I stayed here a couple years ago and it was FABULOUS. This visit was mediocre at best. Any requests from the front desk for housekeeping or extra pillows or the like took HOURS. Dinner food from the hotel restaurant was great but extremely limited in availability and also took a long time. Breakfast was boring, lacked flavor and the potatoes were served cold. The morning front desk personnel were great but afternoon front desk workers had very poor attitudes. I noticed lots of stains in the hallways along with a strange smell and housekeeping left behind their used rags in my room after turndown service. For the price I expected much better.

Foyer entrance smelled like backed up sewer. All the staff are very young and in training. It's an old Monaco hotel with a modern makeover that tries to act like 4 stars but falls very short.

Basically, everything was fine, but not up to the level one would expect for the price paid. There was not even a towel rod in the bathroom and the rest of the place was fading a bit in terms of newness. Worst was the $23/person "amenities fee." We did not do anything but sleep in the room, and did not park a car or check luggage, so $46/day is kinda rich and was not disclosed on check in. They also hold $400 for "incidentals." Seriously? They had my Amex on file.
