A beautiful hotel walking distance to the little township. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite. The food is amazing and good value for money. It is certainly worthwhile visiting this cute little town when on a road trip of the north.
Just had one night stay but stayed before and same standard was upheld this time so all was fine. Spacious single room and good breakfast with nice view over towards Maryport marina.
Only there for one night, people friendly, room was immaculate, bed was a little firm but i am used to a soft mattress topper
Dinner was excellent as was the breakfast.
Will defiantly stay there again
The first room I was given did not have working heating. They offered a room swap, which I did take them up on. The second room had bed bugs, which bit me three times! Then the third room also had bed bugs which bit me twice! Although I was offered new rooms, none of which were any better than the last.
Also the noise from a local bar was extremely loud, especially in the last room. Something to note for other people staying here. Certainly would not recommend!!
The staff were lovely especially the breakfast lady who works really hard. My room was clean and comfortable apart from the stains all over the carpet, perhaps a couple of rugs would go nice.
Lovely hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Staff friendly. Struggle to get to the room, our room was on the top floor. Not the hotels fault, just I have an ankle issue and struggled. Make sure to ask for a lower floor if you have mobility issues, no lift. Canât wait to come back! Thank you to everyone.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to leave our bags after check out so we could go to the museum. We had a great view from our room.
