« Excellent, couldn't fault anything »

« Considering the lodges must be heavily used they are in fairly good condition. Some scuffs and marks and our freezer was in desperate need of a defrost but still usable.Nice crisp bedding. Large towels. Beds very comfy. »

« There was a bit of wear and tear but it did not negate the holiday. It’s an amazing place. The wild flowers, rabbits and birds are the best we have come across. »

« Lovely, homely and warm. Well equipped very comfortable beds . »

« A lovely lodge evening was clean and like new. Only downside was the mattress was very uncomfortable and the bathroom light was on a sensor which went off mid shower! »

« An excellent lodge set on a green space next to a wooded area at the end of the park. The hot tub was serviced daily and staff were busy ith the upkeep of the site. The lodge had a smart TV with catch up and the WiFi was surprisingly good. The lodge is well placed for a visit to the southern Lakes area. There a number of good shops in Grange for groceries and the Pheasant Inn at Allithwaite was excellent for evening meals. »

« Lodge was perfect for our group, clean with everything we needed.Hot tub was private and well maintained. »

« We actually stayed in Kent Lodge which was great, clean and had everything expected at a lodge »

« Loved the decor it was really comfortable and with two bathrooms was the perfect retreat »

« First time staying in a Wordsworth lodge. Great position on the site, right next to the reception and the restaurant. We did have some very noisy neighbours, playing music loudly round the hot tub late in to the night which was a shame. Also, the dishwasher didn’t appear to work, it wouldn’t clean the dishes no matter how many times we tried, so we had to revert to washing them by hand. Also, the shower in the EnSuite bedroom did not drain, so the tray would flood. »

« Nice pool, small lodge but enough room for an outdoors holiday which is what you’d want really given the Lake District location. No complaints at all »

« Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. Lived up to expectations. Would definitely book again »

« Lovely site, staff friendly and helpful. Had s lovely relaxing week here.Accommodation had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Site was spotless. »

« Lodge comfortable . Settees a little dated . 3 bathrooms. Only fault was one shower was scalding. We did report . Came to fix . But it was not done . Needs a new Thermostat. So has to be ordered. So we used other 2 showers . Stunning views from lodge Beds comfortable and warm . Lodge lovely warm considering it’s December . Fab holiday »

« Lovely lodge . Very comfortable. Hot tub was a real bonus. »

« The stay was spacious, clean and cozy. The sheets were new and in better condition that some of the hotels. »

« Nice outlook with a pleasant terrace for the better weather. Spacious accommodation with lots of hot water for showers and very good central heating. »

« No WiFi means no WiFi knew this and thought gate enough but really it was a bit of an ask for us but no phone signal was an issue as I am ill an had a fear that if I had an issue we could literally not sum help. The cabin seemed like it had not been used in a while. »

« Perfect lodge, you will want for nothing, very compact but modern. All utensils you would ever need are included, lovely private decking and covered hot tub, table chairs ,sun loungers.Look for the RAF typhoons they are amazing. »
