« The property location is perfect. You’re just steps away from the lake. There isn’t a street sign to find the property which was a bit tricky. The cottage itself has a musty smell that lingered the whole time we stayed. Both of the bedrooms don’t have any ventilation & there’s no way to use the shower without water spraying outside of it. « The listing was a little misleading in that it appeared to show pics of other properties around it than the actual property and of those that are on the lake front. This property is actually behind the one being pictured and several properties from the lake front. The interior pics were accurate. The cleanliness was just so-so and there was a very musty smell that permeated your hair and clothes. The cabin had everything you needed and check in/out was super easy. « Property was as pictured/expected. Lakeview from cabin was beautiful.Interior of cabin was ok. Easy things to correct would have been removing spider/cobwebs on light fictures, walls, corners and window tracks. These things made the cabin feel dirty and uncomfortable. Maybe a fresh coat of paint throughout would help make it more cozy. The closeness to Lexington was great. What a lovely and friendly little town. »
