« I stayed at the Blue Heron with my 2 kids (2 and 10) and my large dog. The fenced in large yard was absolutely wonderful to have everyone outside when at the house. I loved the lot - so much space on 3 of the sides without being right on top of another house! The bay view off the side of the house really topped it off! The house was incredibly clean inside. « Our stay was wonderful. Cottage is beautiful and so close to the ocean. The view from the screened porch was breathtaking. I was very impressed how clean and organized the cottage was. Anything we needed was there plus extra touches: s'mores kit, popcorn etc. I can go on and on. Communication with the manager was great, response to any questions were answered immediately. All of this together made the most pleasurable stay. I highly recommend renting this property. Edyta »

« This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again. »

« Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle. Beds were amazingly comfortable too. Hosts Rhett and Kay couldn’t be more responsive to inquiries. Overall great experience and would recommend for a lovely getaway. Thank you!! ...

« Beautiful scene. Sunrise on the beach is perfect. Loved the low waves. Was easy to swim. The home was so cute! They were FULLY stocked. Anything that you think you may need and it’s there. The bed was squishy comfy. Even when we stayed inside, we had a gorgeous view from the sunroom. The neighbors were super friendly. The host was very responsive and extremely nice! Will definitely return to this little paradise! »
