« Host was helpful. Minutes by foot from downtown and the beach. Weather was cool. House was comfortable. Kitchen had gas stove which was intimidating to us. Bathroom and large bedroom was on main level. Windows on main level were left unlocked, but the host said crime was low there. We locked them anyways. Two windows would not lock at all, notified host. Visit with family and friends was more relaxing than meeting at a restaurant. Very proud of my hometown. My husband did notice cobwebs...

« The property was great for our little getaway, our dog loved going in the water. We didn't have great weather but Doreen had the porch covered with a clear tarp and had the outdoor heaters on when we got there so we were able to enjoy the view. It was a short drive to Lexington which was perfect. Definitely would stay again. »

« By far the best feature of this home was easy access to the beach for my grandsons! It was a short and safe walk. The kitchen was efficient and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and large. The layout required a lot of stair-climbings, but short trips. We had beautiful weather all week, but typical warm humid summer days made the lake water welcome! »
