« We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious cabin! The peaceful lake setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We especially loved the screened-in porch and the large deck, which gave us plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and take in the peaceful atmosphere. « Lovely cabin/chalet near Callaway and Roosevelt State Park! The owner was very communicative and answered questions promptly. It was the perfect rental for our family. Bedrooms downstairs were easily accessible for the older family members and the deck was enjoyed by all. Would rent again and and recommend! »

« Chalet was older. Dock was rotten could not go out on dock. Walkway and deck needs some updating. Kitchen had roaches. They were in the dishwasher with the clean dishes. »

« Over all the chalet worked for us. We stayed upstairs and the stairs could have been a little cleaner. Would have liked a couple of dishwasher pods. The porch is nice I think the finches were enjoying it too. Everything went well and we had a good stay. »

« We have stayed at this resort 3 different times, only because we haven't been able to find anything else. This unit was dusty-cobwebs on the blinds and shelves. The mattresses are worn out. There was no hair dryer and for some reason, they don't provide paper towels. The location is fine and the staff are efficient but every unit I've stayed in needs a good cleaning and update. »

« We travel a lot and stay in many rentals, including hotels. This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places we have ever stayed. We will definitely stay here again and are looking at it for a family reunion. We traveled with 2 adults, 2 19-year-olds, 1 16-year-old and 2 small dogs. We were all very comfortable and the teens even loved it! »

« Let me start by saying we ended up leaving after the first night. We got there and didn’t have entry info, couldn’t get in touch with anyone, and the sister(?) from next door ended up coming over to help us. Upon entry the floor was tore up and there was roach poop in all of the appliances and cabinets. We found one bed with rat poop and pee under the blanket. It says private but it’s not. I reached out to ask about a refund as we didn’t stay and have heard nothing back. Over 1500 bucks we will...
