« Easy check in at this unique 1950s prefab bungalow. Enjoyed learning about history of this home from the book, pictures and other documents about Lustron on site. Plenty of nostalgia with all the modern comforts. Very clean and well stocked home. This was our first visit and will definitely come back. »

« This is the second year that we stayed at Martin's place. We love it her as it has exactly what we want for a home base while we explore the Starved Rock area. Always clean and welcoming. Highly recommended. PS we will be back soon! »

« Wonderful stay at the Cottage Charm. Plenty of room for the four of us, everything was clean, the attention to detail was awesome. Every time I messaged the owner, I heard back very quick. We had no troubles finding the place, getting in, or with anything in the house. We would definitely stay here again and so should you! »

« My wife, daughter, dog and I had a wonderful stay at this farmhouse. It was clean, well kept, and exactly as advertised. Our 1yr old daughter loved all the animals around the farm, and our dog loved the big yard to run around in. Very close to both Starved Rock and Matthiessen, easy driving distance to both.Can't recommend this place enough. »

« Close to downtown Ottawa which made it very convenient for our weekend activities. The home is located next to a railroad track; there were a handful of trains that passed through while we were there but nothing too disruptive. Plenty of room in the apartment. »

« This was the perfect location for our goal to unplug and get into nature for a long weekend with all the hiking and nature nearby. The house was roomy and had everything we needed to cook and relax and spend time together. Elaine was the perfect host. The property was spotlessly clean. All the little details were appreciated. »

« The place is amazing! Beautiful old home. Very well maintained. Modernized with AC and plenty of outlets. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Perfect bedroom and bathroom layouts. Roku TVs in all bedrooms! We almost never find that!! The owner was very responsive to any question we had. You can tell they have pride of ownership in this place. We didn't get to use the fire pit in the back, but we will next trip. It was an awesome experience. »

"Hôtel pratique. Malgré la proximité avec la sortie d’autoroute, l’hôtel est bien isolé et peu bruyant. Il est bien dans le standard super 8."

"Hotel convenable, mais sans plus et surtout j'ai payé plus cher pour avoir un lit king et à l'arrivée on m'a dit que c'était impossible et qu'on ne pouvait pas me rembourser l'extra. Le personnel aussi était vraiment pas agréable et aidant."

"L’hôtel est joli mais les restaurants et la piscine étaient fermés sans que nous soyons avertis au préalable. De plus notre réservation était avec petit déjeuner inclus mais arrivé à l’hôtel ils nous ont dit que ce n’était pas inclus. Même pas un café à la réception ni de cafetière dans la chambre."
