« This property is centrally located to many attractions, and close to downtown Grand Rapids. Woodland Mall is not too far, and has a movie theater and a Cheesecake Factory. The John Ball Zoo is about 8 miles away, driving on side streets, so no need to take the freeways. Gun Lake Casino is about a half hour drive south on US-131. Very good 65th Birthday trip with my sisters! »

« Everything was wonderful. Justin was great at answering all our questions and for his recommendations. Thank you for recommending Russo's. Excellent food, especially their pizza and cheese sticks. The house was very neat and tidy. It was fully equipped with pots, pans, and utensils if you choose not to go out and eat. It was definitely a needed get away and if we come back to Gun Lake, we would love to stay here again. »

« With 5 adults for 4 nights, we found the house conveniently located, fairly well-appointed and adequate for our needs, clean inside except for the messy, gross trash piled at the back door. Seating was low, some upstairs beds impossibly high, floor uneven, stairs steep and narrow. Hot water in upstairs shower available with counter-clockwise turn. All in all, the accommodations contributed to a good visit. We would book again. Thank you! »

« We were looking for a quiet woodland retreat and found this place to be exactly that. The 3-season porch was wonderful. The furniture was comfortable. A wide variety of woodland birds and chipmunks came to the feeders close to the windows. The chipmunks were especially entertaining. A big thank you to the host for coming to refill the feeders. The addition of a large ground feeder soon attracted squirrels. The electric fireplace took off the chill, and we had fun changing the color of the...
