« Nice sized space. Definitely a work in progress in the repairs and upgrades to the house itself. Fridge was clean, spaces were clean, the bed was comfy and we liked having that TV for background noise while we were there. The kids at the park were a little noisy and the walls weren't very sound proof from the outside world. Overall, very enjoyable stay. »

« Our stay at the Country Cottage was absolutely perfect from start to finish. « The house was very nice, we enjoyed having the hot tub since the weather was chilly. It was also nice to have the grill for eating in. The location was great for taking a walk to the beach and a short drive to nearby towns. »

« I brought my 2 kids to this house for a spring break weekend getaway. We absolutely LOVED the house! We have stayed in rental homes several times before & this was by far our favorite. You could easily accommodate 6-8 people here without feeling crowded. Owner / staff was very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to and during our stay.Location is perfect, only about a mile from the heart of St. Joseph, Silver Beach, plus walking trails all around. « Overall we loved our stay at the cabin. Having 6 people in the cabin made the single bathroom tough at times, but we made it work. I wish the water was a little closer as my mother has a hard time walking and couldn’t use the path to the beach, but t was beautiful. The children loved the loft and the kitchen was put to use to make breakfast every morning. Getting re-used to no TV and wi-fi was interesting at times, but we made it work and enjoyed spending time with each other like we did back...

« Everything was great. The house was perfect for a girl’s weekend, plenty of space. The location was fantastic. The views around the house looking out toward the lake were stunning, especially in the morning and evenings when the sandhill cranes were out in the back yard. Even though the weather was cold and the lake was frozen, there was plenty to do. We will definitely consider rebooking in the summertime. Overall, we had a great time and the house worked perfectly for our trip. »

« Great stay. Able to do a trip to white fish point, upper, and lower falls. Would never know the owner is there. Very peaceful and quiet. If you are ok with eating out the whole trip and being in a basically desolate town, I would definitely suggest going in the winter after they are done getting snow storms. »

« This is a great place to stay with family! There were 6 of us staying for a weekend wedding and was perfect. They even accommodated the family pet! Place was very clean and beautiful! Great atmosphere, relaxing and close to everything downtown. Definitely a 10 out of 10!! »
