« Cabin small, but mighty! Nicely appointed. Perfect for a couple. Deck chairs and grill for our Big Dawg brats, were a bonus! Tree swings by water were perfect for morning coffee. Birds, boats, turtles, deer, bunnies, hummingbirds....Oh My!Property well kept. We enjoyed our time and the close proximy to biking trails, restaurants, museums and pottery shop. « We had a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We loved the boathouse--cute, quaint, and right on the water. The air conditioning worked well and was a life-saver in the hot, humid weekend weather. The owners were friendly, responsive to questions, and communicated well. No real swimming area at the property (unless you went further out into the lake), but it was a lot of fun to take advantage of the provided kayaks and paddleboards. « We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out...
