« The property was nice ,great views of the lake. The place of stay is behind the owners actual residence so dont be alarmed that the pix dont match the address given. The trailer was clean,well lit comfortable. Gary the host is wonderful guy to work with and he will go over the place upon arrival. Our only issue was the 2nd bedroom,its an upper crawl space great for little kids but a little tight for a full grown adult. « Vrbo was supposed to send out details for check in and never did so I had to contact them to contact the host, and they almost cancelled my stay after driving 8 hours when the host didn’t answer the first attempt. We finally got checked in eventually though. In-Law suite is attached to another unit, but we couldn’t hear any noise and it was overall a nice stay on a nice property. Will probably stay here again next time we are in the area. »

« Everything was just as advertised, perfect fall foliage getaway. Host ( Jay ) and his family assisted when we had a car problem and also had great hiking suggestions( so close to National Forest) It was great to have a Host who was a local. Great touches, such as a S’mores setup for the fire pit, coffee maker for Kcups or pot, linens, towels all nice quality. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend this Host and his cabins in Heflin ! »

« Stayers, beware!! I booked this place for the Talladega race 2026 the day of the booking, first night to stay, the host sent me a message stating that she had accidentally overbooked the apartment. Mind you this is the day before the Talladega race and we live four hours away. We had to search for somewhere to stay as there was nowhere in or near Talladega available at this point, I would highly not recommend booking this place. Cozy country stay centrally located to entertainment, adventure and good food!

« Highly recommend the cozy country cabin. Easy check in with door code. Host was great, she was quick to respond to messages and very hospitable.. Cozy house was well set up and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Home is decorated with many antiques and retro items that were really unique and interesting. They have an adorable "welcoming committee" of pigs and chickens. We had our dog with us and she did well in the environment. We would definitely stay here again. »
