« Check in was not Hampton quality AT ALL. The front desk agent at check in was as upbeat as a tortoise. Desk manners were sub par at best and she was chewing gum exactly like a cow chews. There was no laundry room on site. The fitness center did not have a workout bench, no towels and no wipes(the wipes dispenser was thrown on the floor in a closet. The room and breakfast were good but I had a bad attitude from the check in. »

« Walking in the room, took my breath away from the smell of must and cigarettes. I walked to the Walgreens to get site freshener. If there were other rooms somewhere else, I would’ve left. The comforter had a yellow stain on the top. Thank goodness I brought my own covers to lay on top. The jacuzzi didn’t work. I was warned at least by the staff. The tub had spider webs all around it. « The house wasn't really ready for guest. The fridge was dirty and had opened food ( like cream cheese ) plus multiple containers with food on it.The fan on master was really dirty. The beds were no made right. We slept on top of the covers. Each bedroom had 1 or 2 windows, that didn't have any kind of privacy , no curtains , no blinds. « Ray and Angela were awesome hosts. They were very friendly and made us feel at home. My husband and I really enjoyed our time there.The cabin was beautiful and really clean. It is pet friendly and our fur baby loved it. The fishing is good too. Across the water from where we were was Goat Island and lots of people stopped by to visit the goats. They offer both paddle boat and kayak rental. They have drinks and fishing bait for sale. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back...

« A lovely pet friendly property right on the lake. Really a great find at a great price. Our host was super super helpful and friendly. You have beautiful views of the lake from inside and outside on the deck. This is the time of year for mosquitoes so be sure to bring spray even though the host has some along with various sunscreens. Kitchen has everything you need for any type of food or drink. We used only one bedroom which has a private bathroom with tub/shower combo but there is a second bedroom with 2 bunks for 4 more people with a full bath.
