« Despite an email exchange with the host prior to our stay, we walked in to find another family was clearly staying/living in the unit. We could not reach the ‘host’ by phone. VRBO was helpful, but insisted we photograph to prove the situation. In downtown Richmond. We could have been shot or had the police called. Our trip was ruined and our kids are freaked out. « We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. »

« We loved our stay at this historic home! The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The owners were welcoming and ensured we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return. One minor issue is that one of the beds listed as a queen was a double, but this minor blip did not take away from our enjoyment of the property! Thank you for your hospitality. »
