« We had an excellent experience. Lynley, the property manager, was incredible. She responds immediately and takes care of the property very well. There were a few things that needed attention but very minor. It was not an upscale place, but very affordable and in a neighborhood with lots of families close together. It was the perfect location to lots of things to see and do in Richmond. »

« Location AWESOME! Easy walk to VMFA and Carytown shops and restaurants! Charmingly renovated and decorated antique property Plenty of hot water for showers. Bedrooms are off the street and protected from traffic noise. Coffee and snacks generous and much appreciated Hope to stay here again! »

« Communication was great from the initial booking. Spacious, clean, and very private. Great accommodations and up to date appliances/furniture. Canoe is a lovely addition that we took pretty far down the river to explore. Would absolutely return and recommend to others! »

« We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. »

« Great communication from owner! This is a lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood. The front fenced yard was perfect for our dog and the home's interior was super clean and inviting. We had 2 vehicles and were able to find street parking easily in front of home. We ate at the Mexican restaurant that was very close by (Amigos) and it was delicious. Also, very close to a Target & Kroger along with many other shops. I would definitely stay at this home again! »

« Very spacious, affordable property nestled off Richmond Road. Very clean, great hosts and the house had all the amenities needed. Can’t think of a thing they missed. Fresh eggs daily, if you like! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown area. »

« It was an amazing stay. We were welcomed into a perfectly immaculate home that was exceedingly quiet the whole time. They have so many wonderful amenities right there. The only thing that took me by surprise was that one of the rooms is more of a loft because it doesn’t have a door on it. »

« The location was great- near the James River.There were ample beds and baths for my crew. Nice back yard where the little ones could run around. »

« The home is spacious & well maintained. Beds and living room furniture are very comfortable. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen had plenty of dishes & other equipment. The only complaint is most of the windows/doors in the living/ kitchen area dont have shades. The morning sun is blinding in that space. The view is amazing though! My sisters & I all agreed this was our favorite VRBO ever! Oh, & Rene was great to work with. »

« House was exactly what we needed for our stay. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Will definitely stay here again when in the Richmond area. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The check in process was simple, and we found the house to be squeaky clean. The location was ideally situated to explore Richmond to the north, and Petersburg to the south. Both were approximately 15 minutes away. »

« Host told us we’d have 4 beds and 2 air mattresses. We had 6 people and counted on having our own sleeping space. The host lied to us and we had to share beds as 30 year old grown men. The host did bring 2 air mattresses after our first night’s stay but refused to refund us 1/3 of 1 night which is more than fair for false advertising. We arrived from the airport after hours of flight delays so wasn’t worth getting a hotel we just shared beds. The sofa was dirty too. Wouldn’t recommend staying...

« This is a great, well appointed property in an easy to access location. The home was clean and neat, though we’d recommend fewer air fresheners as those aggravated some allergies. The front porch is great for morning coffee, and the quaint backyard was a lovely place for dinner. The home has everything you need; we’ll definitely consider staying again if we are in the area! »
