« A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! »

Indian Fields is a short drive away and it has a great vibe and good food. I settled in easy and had a very relaxing stay. The drive to Williamsburg was peaceful and well worth it as well. »

« Great for family get away. Didn't get to use hot tub. Fished from dock but no fish. Lots of activity on river...fishing tournament from park and several boat races. It was entertaining.. Beds comfy but needed my feather pillow. Location and proximity to everything was great. Thank you again. »

« Loved every minute vacationing at the Guest House "Holly Hill" in Charles City, VA! The Saltwater Pool was extremely luxurious and relaxing! Even though we had quite a few days of rain, the sun still came out long enough for us to swim in the pool! The two new managers Justin and Charles were very nice and helpful. This was their first year managing the property and they did an excellent job! Was sad that Steve Rula, Jr has retired and we missed not seeing his smiling face! Wish Steve the best...

« I liked the heated pool and hot tub. I did initially like the jet tub in the master bath but it was very dirty upon turning it on. I liked how massive the master bathroom was though and the overall look of the apartment was beautiful. I did not like the 6am trash pick up beside my window on a Saturday though. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. »

« This was a great stay for the price. Our 2 br unit had some raggedy moments, but it's obviously an old property. The first thing we saw upon entry was a huge burn in the carpet (might wanna touch that up). The couches looked like somebody's grandma died on them. On the other hand, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms clean and stocked. The pool and amenities were great for kids. Overall a good stay. We'd book again. »
