« We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

« Overall, our group had a pleasant time but there were a few things that effected our stay: We were given two different unit numbers for check-in, which caused some minor confusion. « The property was in a great location to the places we needed to be. We were disappointed that there was 1 bath towel, no wash clothes and two hand towels for our use. The listing stated two bedrooms, it was one bedroom with a pull out sofa however stated the unit slept 5. There were no sharp knives in the unit. I normally carry a ton of items and have gotten out of the habit as these are things that should be standard items in the units. »

« Very spacious, affordable property nestled off Richmond Road. Very clean, great hosts and the house had all the amenities needed. Can’t think of a thing they missed. Fresh eggs daily, if you like! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown area. »

« We had an excellent experience. Lynley, the property manager, was incredible. She responds immediately and takes care of the property very well. There were a few things that needed attention but very minor. It was not an upscale place, but very affordable and in a neighborhood with lots of families close together. It was the perfect location to lots of things to see and do in Richmond. »
