« What a fantastic spot! So quiet, so clean, so convenient to the attractions we wanted to visit - and so well stocked! The only downside was that we visited during the July Heat Dome with 100 degree temps, so it wasn't comfortable to take advantage of the lakeside outdoor areas. However, with the expansive windows, we were able to enjoy the views from the blessedly cool living room. We can't say enough about our great hosts, too. « We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come again. The property was exactly as described and pictured. It was conveniently located within 15 minutes of all our destinations and only about 5 minutes from Jamestown. The beds were a little more on the firm side, but everything was clean and well stocked (towels, wash clothes, pillows, etc). Despite being right by a road the area was very quiet. There's even a farmer's market located across the street! We were very pleased with our time here...

« What a hidden gem of a place! A gorgeous river cottage overlooking the St James River. Grateful to be immersed in a natural rural atmosphere and also so close to many things to do both at the cottage and near Williamsburg. We swam, walked the beach, kayaked and fished! A magical sun rising over the StJames River takes one’s breathe away! I understand why people come back here. It’s a very special place.
