« What a fantastic venue for our family reunion! We booked all the houses on the property. We used the main house as our meeting place and to prepare meals. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub while the adults appreciated the hill country view and just sitting around the porch chatting. I've never seen brighter stars in the sky or bigger smiles on everyone's faces. Hoping to come back again! Highly recommend! »

« The property was very quiet and charming. It was like staying at my grandmothers house when I was a kid. I would definitely stay here again. However, there is no hot tub like advertised. There are also lots of nails around the house from the newly installed roof. A previous review stated the same issue with nails, and they have not been cleaned up. We picked up lots of nails and metal cuttings during our stay to help. Someone needs to go out with a magnet and clean up the mess from the new roof....

« It was truly the most easy going vacation rental I have ever booked. The owner was friendly and funny when appropriate. For those that actually use a kitchen, the kitchen was stocked with even extras for the curious. « We hosted my boyfriend’s 30th birthday here- and it was perfect! The different sleeping locations allowed all of our groups of friends to comfortably relax and spread out. We all took a short drive to Pedernales for a hike (40ish minutes), but spent most of our time enjoying the property. The pool, hot tub, game room (No AC but they provided great fans!), multiple kitchens and bathrooms made hosting a large crowd easy. Plus, all of the beds were comfortable!
