« Before I left for this trip, I said ‘if the property ends up being nearly as good as the listing makes it seem, this is going to be a great trip’ and it turns out the property was exactly as listed. Cute place, lots of outdoor space, plenty of privacy (except of course, for the alpacas watching you every move ;) ). It felt rustic, while having amenities like AC and solid wifi. We just left and have already decided that we would love to return! »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our days "up north" at The Outpost on Wymer Lake! From submitting my rental request to checking into the property, Tracy was a dream to work with--responsive, thorough, friendly. The lakehome was perfect for our stay--comfy couches and beds, decks with good seating, spacious open floor plan in kitchen/dining/living areas, and fun retro decorations. The location on the lake afforded beautiful sunrises and peaceful surroundings. And we were close enough to Frazee and Detroit...

« We had a very nice time here. I would have to say this was the cleanest cabin i have ever stayed at. There was almost any kind of kitchen item you could imagine for cooking. It was great being so close to the lake. We enjoyed time out on the deck and being able to grill. All cabins looked occupied but you would never know it as everyone was so respectful and quiet. We would come back again. »

« Our stay at the cabin in the was absolutely delightful. This spacious retreat proved to be perfect for all ages, including our dogs, who had a fantastic time exploring the wooded area and playing freely. « We spent a week at a cozy cabin near Waubun, MN, on Elbow Lake, and it was a fantastic experience. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We did encounter a small issue with the septic system, but the owner responded promptly and went above and beyond by offering a large refund for the inconvenience without us even asking. Their attentiveness and accommodation made our stay even better. Highly recommended! »
