« Our stay was wonderful! It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. Yvette was so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were all super delicious. They had games for outside, and fishing, and we all had lots of fun hunting for fossils in the river. We were a little concerned about being in the same house and eating breakfast with the owners (with several rambunctious kids and several introverts) but they made us feel completely at home and comfortable. « Beautiful country setting with woods and open space. Lot's of space to walk around and enjoy the outdoors, including a fire pit and outdoor games like cornhole. Only 15 minutes from town to pick up supplies. Ten minutes to a lake with swimming, fishing, and a beach. Many other lakes easily accessible. « THIs is a lovely historical property built in about 1874. It is well preserved and has period wall coverings and ceilings including a gilded ceiling and a living room with course burlap over bright copper sheets. The bright copper was added in 1903 when electricity was installed. The wattage of the bulbs was low and the copper improved the light performance.
