Minnesota : Lodges

« Stayed in one of the Cedar Lodge rooms. Desperately needs upgrading in the bathrooms. Could not leave the patio door open due to holes in the screen. Outdoor deck and outdoor furniture in bad shape. The beach was nice but the water trampoline had a hole so not much bounce. Kids asked for fishing poles (pretty bad shape) and were given 2 night crawlers. When asked for more bait they were told to catch leeches which the staff said were all over in the lake. Who wants to go in the water...

« Expedia charging $350 when hotel charges $251 is not something that I expected. Not going to use expedia in future. »

« We were scheduled to stay for a week but only stayed two nights. We stayed in the lodge. While walking down the concrete stairs, I stepped down and my ankle rolled. It chipped a bone in my ankle. I was looking down while stepping down and I was expecting to put my foot on concrete, not the grass. The concrete was broken up a bit. The concrete stairs were better than the railroad tie stairs at the other end of the lodge. The staff did bring me a large bag of ice and baggies to ice my very swollen...

« I loved how quiet it was for the first three days; the last night was very loud and rather busy. I was a little disappointed in the amenities. The bikes were unusable and rusty, and the games were clearly very old and not complete. The blinds in our rooms were also all broken which made sleeping in impossible. »
