« Great stay here! Beautiful, cozy, and intimate spot that's not too rural or isolated. Everything was labeled, easy to access, and checkout was a breeze. Fantastic little beach, lovely patio and fireplace, and great full kitchen that made cooking with kids a breeze. We would definitely stay again »

« Our trip was the perfect mix of relaxing and being active. We loved that it was pet friendly and could bring our two pups, the fenced in yard was perfect for playing fetch in! We enjoyed walks near by and evenings on the patio! »

« Stayed at the Perch for a long Holiday weekend. The area is mostly quiet. Jeannie the owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house was clean and well supplied. We did not have contact with the local care keeper, a couple messages were not returned. Perch lake is a very small lake, a pontoon ride around the lake would take 30 min. or less. « Cottage is right on the lake with a nice little flat lawn. Its located in a nice quiet area but still close to town.The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and the beds/ furniture were comfortable. They provide kayaks, a canoe, a good size range of life jackets and a dock you can use for your own boat. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back. »

The host was exceptional and available to answer any of our questions. If you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable place to relax and unwind then this cottage is for you. « I WISH THIS WAS MY LAKE HOUSE!It's the perfect combination of "getting away from everything in the north woods" and "access to modern convenience."This cabin is NOT roughing it. There are granite countertops, lots of cabinets, high speed WIFI, multiple smart TVs, great water pressure, and a sauna! The owners thought of everything... we were able to cook a few nights on the grill and the location was close to the lakes, but far enough for quiet "in the woods" nights! « This cute little cabin was awesome...right on the water and we had big plans that weekend. Unfortunately, I had to DJ a last minute wedding in Port Huron and we couldn't stay. We literally only spent the night sleeping there and that was it. Would love to come up & try again sometime. :-) »

« The place was amazing, just enough room, nestled next to a lake. The area was so quiet and peaceful, the kids didnt know rather to stay inside in the a/c or to go play outside. We went to the pool, it was about 1 1/2 miles to the pool but it was worth it. Only thing i would suggest is for the owners to let people know where the lake access for the house is, i didn't know until the last night from a neighbor. It would be amazing if a fire pit was next to the lake access... be able to sit next to...
