« The sunflower mushroom house is very cozy and quaint in a pretty country setting. The drive from town is more like 20min with the stoplights and roads to get there but it was just fine for us coming for KU graduation. The parking is interesting it would be nice for the driveway to extend to the actual rental home and not stop in front of the run down home in front of the rental. Overall we would recommend the home for your trip to Lawrence »

Overrated or I'm unlucky?

"I don't understand the average review rate... My room was strongly smelling cigarette even if it is supposed to be non-smoking room and it was not that clean. At the breakfast there were no more eggs and regular coffee. The only employee I saw seemed too busy to take care of all these details. The AC was so so. I understand it's under renovations but they don't even seem to try to make up for that. On the positive side it was quiet until about 7:30 when the construction workers started. The young lady at the check-in seemed friendly. Even if the price is low, I think they can do better..."
