Close to MS State University

Plumbing just passable, only analog tv with no local channels, minimal trash receptacles, breakfast buffet sparse. Recommend only if all other hotels are booked for athletic event.

Everything was perfectly fine. I loved the mattress. Comfortable and clean. Only problem was the construction next door. Definitely no sleeping late! Other than that I would stay again.

Thank you for your response and we are glad that you liked your stay. The construction next door should be over soon. Thanks again for the feedback as it will help us as a team to work for better customer service.

Stay Away! Filthiest Room Ever Seen!

Publié le 17 nov. 2017
Experience starts off bad from the get go. Walked in room to find that there was only one working light bulb. Let me take that back there was only one light bulb period, there wasn’t even bulbs in the other sockets. But there was enough light to revel all the pubic hairs everywhere. It was the filthiest room I have ever stayed in my life. We wore our shoes the entire time in the room. And had to go buy our own blankets. Wish there would have been other options. But all others were full.

Crappy Youth Hostels in SE Asia are not this bad.

Les + : The lady who "cleaned" the room was sweet.
Les - : Everything. This place is horrible.
Situation : Location is okay.
Friday night when my wife, two young sons and I arrived at the "hotel" we discovered a lot of seedy looking people hanging out all around the property. All the rooms are outside. There is old furniture sitting around everywhere. I payed my $400 for the room. The gentleman at the front desk was nice. The other gentleman working at the hotel came to our door smoking. As we entered the room I first noticed how dirty the room was. There was food on the floor. The door looked like it had been kicked in and put back up. The curtain didn't close all the way so anyone could see in our room. We got the kids showered. I was holding my one year old to dry his hair and the hairdryer caught on fire. Flames were coming out of both ends right by my son's head. He was scared and cried all night. I got to get a manager and the person who comes to our room is the same man who was smoking around my children at my door earlier. There was no manager. The staff was useless. I called a 1-800 number and there was no one who could help me until Monday morning. I get in bed and realize that the mattress was flipped over and no one would be able to sleep on it comfortably. I was too scared, at what I might see, to flip it over myself. I knew there was no manager to help me so I slept in my clothes on a towel on top of the dirty comforter. It was the worst "hotel experience of my life.

Decent place to stay for MSU events.

Les + : The price was good since I booked the room in June and stayed there in September for the MSU vs LSU football game.
Les - : The outdoor pool was closed. It looked like it was in need of a lot of repairs. its a very old property that could use a lot of TLC!
Situation : Convenient to walk to several restaurants and shopping. Close to the MSU campus.
The hotel staff was friendly. The rooms are very old and not well maintained. For what I paid it was a satisfactory place to stay.

Would never come back!

The rooms were not clean! The carpet was so dirty the bottoms of my feet were black. The bedding was also unclean! There were huge stains all over the sheets and crusty parts that spread to be dried on! When we asked for new sheets instead of getting fresh ones they took us to another room and had us strip the bed! Luckily we were able to find a different hotel! Still had to pay for that night however.

MSU College Move In

Publié le 18 août 2017
All other hotels were booked or charging a car payment to one night's stay, so I had to stay here. Knowing what i was getting into i didnt expect much. But OMG! Stained carpet and bed comforter. No hot water in the shower. It was 100 degress outside so i welcomed the cold shower. The room just felt dirty. I thought something was crawling on me the whole night, even sitting on the chair. I survived and i will not stay there again.
