« Mother / Daughter weekend away! The home was extremely clean, beautifully positioned on the lake, and easy to access and park. The amenities were perfect, pleased to find laundry detergent available, coffee pods, firewood, etc. Would highly recommend. It is just as it looks in the advertised pictures. »

« This is my 3rd stay at the Pumphouse, 2nd with my family. This property is so relaxing and enough space to spread out during the rainy days. »

« Adorable, clean, classic home just steps from Lake Superior. Our group was a family of 6 with teens and young adults. Plenty of room to move around, good sleep setup…stellar view of lake from the back deck. Property owners very accessible and approachable. We will definitely stay here again. »

« I have to start by saying the pictures don’t do this home justice. It is gorgeous. The woodwork and different built ins throughout the house are amazing. The outside sitting areas are numerous and it is so peaceful looking at the pond and all its inhabitants enjoying the space. There is a hiking trail right out the back door. You feel like you are away from it all but are only a short drive to some beautiful downtown areas of Duluth. Doug is a great host and provided a ton of great...

« It was a great getaway. The house and location where amazing. Just a little issue with a few of the games that we were looking forward to using. The oven didn't seem to heat properly when making pizzas the top was done but the crust was still doughy. The only other thing i would suggest is the handicap ramp to get into the property had a piece of wood making it hard to get onto the ramp itself. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. »
