« Clean room »

« The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Tiny. The property is nice and dark when you want to watch stars and relax into the evening. Tiny had everything we needed for a two night stay to cook some meals, do some work, and then relax when we needed it. Watching the baby bunnies and fireflies through the big picture windows was fun. Will book again and check out more of the nature around Black River next time! »

« The Koeselig cottage is adorable! We have stayed in mulitple VRBO's and AIRBNB's over the years and while we loved our stay at this cottage in Ellison Bay, I think that the rental company could have done a better job at several things:1. The listing description should say that you are going to drive about a 1/4 mile on a long, bumpy dirt road to get to the property.2. No kitchen towels were provided, no Kleenex was provided and only two very small 1/2 rolls of toilet paper were provided (not...
