« This is a marvelous, unique cottage. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Will definitely book again.Just a few notes to be sure of before you book.1. The pathway could be difficult for any one with difficulty walking. The walkway is stone and is uneven in places. If you need a flat surface for walking the walkway maybe not work for you There are lots of great wagons to haul stuff down to the property.2. There are areas of the walkway that are not well lit. « The cabins looked small from the outside, but we're actually very spacious we didn't feel cramped everything was very clean there was a full kitchen a table big enough to sit at least four. I think the only thing that wasn't 100% perfect was the beds are a little small they were stiff and the pillows were also very small and serviceable. I would still definitely stay there again 100% and would recommend it to everyone! »

« Perfect communication with hostess - prompt replies bur not intrusive. Truly outstanding location right on the water. Quiet and secluded. Well appointed kitchen. Close to all the hiking and restaurants we love. Roomy enough. A shower with more flow would be very nice but probably can't be accommodated on a private septic system. Snug and warm in chilly weather. Good firewood provided for private fire ring. »

« Absolutely loved the stay! My partner and I loved the remote feel, the quiet nights but also how close it was so attractions like Devils Lake State Park and downtown Baraboo. The vrbo was super clean and very cozy feeling with perfectly working heating and water. Kitchen was stocked and everything worked perfect! Thank you to our gracious hosts, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come again! »

« Very nice place. My kids, ages 11, 8 & 6, loved the amenities. The air hockey, foosball table, and tetherball kept them busy when we weren't out on a hike or bike ride during our annual fall trip. The house was clean and well-kept. It definitely has a retro vibe that they leaned into. My wife was nostalgic over how much it reminded her of her childhood home because of the style and decor. The location was great! We were able to ride our bikes from the house to the bike path along the riverfront....
