« We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful Easter weekend in the school house. The bed and linens were comfortable and the classic lounge chairs a treat. My hubby would have enjoyed a small electric frying pan to cook his bacon and eggs in but aside from that the kitchenette had everything we needed. We had booked dinner at Antica Australis in Carcoar in advance, that was wonderful and we stopped on the way home to the school house to admire the stars away from ambient light. »

« This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. It was excellent and everything we wanted. The addition of the Hanes room was a huge hit. We will stay again. »

« Everything was perfect, outdoor pool and spa was nice, I loved the layout of the house, open kitchen, dining and living. Beds were comfy and enough bathrooms for large families. »

« The property was just as described. The kids had a ball. We had four families (8 adults, 8 children). Each couple had their own room which had an ensuite and the kids all bunked in the one room. There was plenty of room for everyone to come together or have their own space. Even though the road to the caves was closed we drive 30 minute to a walk and waterfall which the kids enjoyed the adventure. Jacqui was so quick to respond to any questions and we saw her each day feeding the animals. »

« Great hosts, very informative sending plenty of information before arrival. Beautiful open plan house with heaps of sunshine, we spent most of our time in the unique bushland on the property with rocky escarpments and a running stream spotting wildlife such as wombats, kangaroos and lots of birdlife. We would recommend this stay to anyone looking to unwind. »

« We spent 2 weeks in the region with Jamaicaville as our base only leaving the property to go to Newcastle. Most days were spent lazing around, short walks and watching the kangaroos & the diversity of birds at sunrise & sunset. It was very hot on most days, however the house was very well insulated with the rammed earth walls. « We had a great time getting together with family from various states; taking time out to reconnect and chat and plan over wonderful meals, walks and times near the water. The farm also offered space for solitary walks and naps, reading or flipping a lure with gatherings over meals. We all loved our stay at Crooked Corner and hold it in mind for a return visit and are very grateful for the peaceful time provided. Thank you! »

« We have just returned from a relaxing week at Marigold Cottage. The accommodation was perfect for our family, clean comfortable with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The cottage is not far from local attractions and a short trip back to visit Katoomba and Leura. »

« Such a beautiful peaceful place for a getaway, the house is superb and the pool table and badminton provided night time entertainment. « Really enjoyed staying at this house. We were all delighted to see horses in the next property, that came right up to the fence. Great facilities, only the bed in the main room wasn't comfortable- we ended up swapping rooms with one of the kids as their beds were firmer. »

« A lovely, quiet country property within easy reach of the convenience of Orange. The pool was a huge hit with the kids - great size and very clean. The house was well equipped with everything you need, including a generous welcome hamper. Books, games, TVs, wifi etc. We were a bit concerned about the lack of air con given it was mid-summer, but even though the days were warm the house stayed cool, and the elevation gave us a beautiful cool breeze every night.
