West Bay is a characterful harbourside village on the Jurassic Coastline and is overlooked by the iconic sandstone cliffs on East Beach. From here you can make the short drive or half an hour walk to the historic market town of Bridport, with wide streets that harp back to its rope making past, Bridport is a bustling and charming town with a regular market, vintage quarter and a good range of independent shops and supermarkets. West Bay is home to a good choice or bars, pubs and cafes - a traditional seaside supper of fish and chips is best taken on the pier watching the sun set. Take a fishing day trip, walk the South West coast path, explore the river Brit by canoe or for the less adventurous watch world go by from the comfort of the balcony.
