Bienvenue au Wildlife Manor!

Le Wildlife Manoir est un lieu de rassemblement fantastique pour les familles qui souhaitent passer du temps Ă  l’intĂ©rieur de la maison (avec toutes les commoditĂ©s fournies) ainsi que dans les montagnes environnantes en raison de son emplacement central Ă  Boone, en Caroline du Nord. Vous pourrez profiter de tout ce que les montagnes ont Ă  offrir Ă  proximitĂ©, Ă  Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain et Beech Mountain. Il a beaucoup d'espace de vie et est un lieu de rassemblement familial fantastique. Cette maison peut accueillir 17 personnes dans des lits et 21, y compris des canapĂ©s gigognes et des futons.

Allez au théùtre (chez vous!) - Le cinéma interne dispose de 7 grands fauteuils de théùtre en cuir luxueux, de sacs de haricots, de siÚges supplémentaires et d'une surface au sol permettant de regarder un film ou une émission de télévision sur un écran de projection de 115 pouces doté d'un systÚme de son surround à 8 enceintes!

La grande salle de bonus est nichée dans un endroit privé au-dessus du garage. Il comporte une grande aire de jeux pour bébé avec des jouets pour bébé, un fauteuil à bascule et un puzzle matelassé avec lettres et chiffres. Il dispose également d'une télévision à écran plat avec Play Station 3 (PS3) et d'une télévision directe, ainsi que de plusieurs spots pour dormir.

Take my review with a grain of salt since this is when Hurricane Helene passed through. We lost power and therefore water (property is on a pumped well, so, no power means no plumbing), but the stove was gas, so we were able to cook still. Obviously, none of this is the fault of the manager, CCR. All communication was very quickly responded to, although it's clear that John, who was messaging me, likely oversees many properties and didn't always have the exact answer for this specific home. That being said, he was always quick to find an answer. The main, small negatives, were that there were not enough dishwasher pods/detergent provided. Make sure to bring your own as they only provide a couple. The smoke alarms went off 3 different times, only 1 of which we could make sense of. Not sure why it happened, maybe hurricane related, but CCR did send a tech out to check them and they were in good, working order. Otherwise, the home was very nice, large, and clean. Just watch out for the very steep and unpaved road up there. Would come back again!

We stayed here back in August, and I’m not sure how I missed posting our review. First of all, we cannot rave about this place enough. We are a very large family. Usually 20 of us. This place had enough space for all of us to hang out, but to also spread around when needed. The kids, younger and older loved the theater and hot tub. We enjoyed a lot of time on the porch. And of course the fire pit. Everything was as described if not better. It exceeded our expectations. The check in and check out process was a breeze. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for our crew. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good sizes and offered plenty of space. We absolutely loved this trip! And we plan on going back again! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

The location and house was fabulous. This was a cousins trip and everyone loved the house. There was confusion in communication. Twice, the management company responded to my emails and didn’t seem to read them thoroughly. Eventually, I had an appropriate response and they sorted issues out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was so close to downtown Boone and a short drive from other “local” attractions. We really appreciated the large closets for pack-n-play sleepers, and there was entertainment and space for our whole family ages 1.5-65yo! The host left a sweet welcome gift, and was always timely and available when we had questions.

CONS We arrived to a dirty house with a leaking roof. Long story short the linens were clean, several of the comforters are not. Windows, tubs, dirty. The entire house needs a professional deep clean. (We even found a dried up shrimp tail on the kitchen floor) None of the recliners in the great room work properly if at all. We were advised the day before arriving the commercial size refrigerator wasn’t working
use the loaner in the garage. My mother in law used a lot of elbow grease and cleaned it herself!!! Most of the beds are extremely uncomfortable except for the few people who liked an extremely firm bed. PROS theater was comfy everything worked. Game room provided a lot of entertainment and laughs thank goodness. The kitchen is huge and was great for all the cooking we did. Both coffee makers needed to be cleaned. Spoke with several people at the management company Dominic by far was the only one who seemed to understand my frustration. Two young ladies came to clean the bathrooms and vacuumed
but the vacuum cleaner wasn’t working well
.we dismissed them as they weren’t very helpful. The members of the maintenance team all came in with positive attitude and willingness to help. The roof leak, the fire alarms going off randomly, and removing branches from the driveway after the storm, also grateful for the young man who came to snake the tub and removed what we refer to as “the squirrel size furball. The frustration of so many issues definitely made for difficult times. If the owner addresses many of the broken items (which he’s known about for awhile) this would be a great place. But until those much needed fixes are taken care of we would not recommend it. If they are corrected I wouldn’t mind giving it another try as the space ans location was perfect. (Ages 22-74)

Property was well maintained and provided everything you would need for a weeks stay. The main fridge did not keep cold enough which made the fridge alarm sound off over night, (we made sure the doors were closed before going to bed but the alarm still went off) Thank you for the fridge in the garage. we moved most of the food into the garage. Water pressure was a little low, but not enough to be a problem. Over all, the house is a beautiful house and I would definitely stay there again, Thank you for the opportunity to use the house.

My family stayed with several other families and we all had a blast! There was plenty of room for us all. I did however get my truck stuck in a ditch twice while leaving. So please pay attention if it is snowing! It is no joke! The cabin rental place was very accommodating and helpful. The only complaint was the internet or lack there of. So good luck trying to stream anything. We would definitely go back however!

This our worse experience in ten years of renting cabins/ homes over the fourth of July holiday week. TV in master didn't work at all, hot tub was a joke, gas grill didn't work, surround sound in living room and theater room didn't work, toilet upstairs was turned off and don't work, basement/ lower level plumbing kept stopping up, found out pump was not plugged in. All of this should have been checked well before we arrived.

This property is spacious, the view is incredible, media room and activity rooms were a plus and the layout was perfect for our large family. My biggest complaint is that this house needs a thorough cleaning. Lots of dust under the beds, on objects in each room, and anywhere that furniture sits. The kitchen cabinets were sticky and greasy along with the coffee pot, utensil holder and tea kettle. The oven was in desperate need of cleaning as well. Lastly, I didn’t quite understand why a dish drain was put into the dishwasher until I realized that it was necessary to put plates on. Otherwise the dishwasher was quite impractical without it. I would also like to add that all blankets and bedspreads should be washed too. Nothing like reaching for a cozy throw only to find out it is stained with something. Not very appealing. I wanted to give this house a better rating but I feel very strongly about cleanliness, especially in a place where food is prepared Kay Robertson

We enjoyed staying at the house as we had five families and it accommodated all of us comfortably. The weather was not that great so we didn’t go out very much as the terrain up to the house is not for the faint of heart. Fortunately it didn’t snow otherwise I would’ve been a nervous Nellie! The house itself was spacious however the quality was not there. The cabinets open on the wrong side and are cheaply made in the kitchen. The furniture in the great room is falling apart and not enough seating for everyone. It’s a huge room and a sectional or something bigger would be a smart idea to make it more comfortable. The cleanliness of the house was just OK. Our socks were black after walking around. Beds were not that comfortable. There was mold in the bathrooms of the house. The under the beds had not been swept and we found a used women’s product pretty gross! The best thing of the house was the movie room! That was outstanding. We also enjoyed all the games downstairs. I would recommend to the owner to do some upgrades. The quality of the house itself was much less than we expected. The door leading down to the basement was off the hinges and did not shut properly. The kitchen was very large and had a great large refrigerator and freezer however the ice maker does not work so we had to go out and buy ice. It also feels like there should be a big island in the middle. Kind of a weird kitchen. I probably would not want to stay there again only because of the cleanliness and quality of the furniture and kitchen. I am a travel agent and spend a lot of times renting cabins and homes throughout the country. This is definitely not top on my list. However if you just need a big house And you spend a lot of time in the movie room and playing games and this is a great house.

The house was great. The driveway is steep and gravel. That was a question I asked before booking as we were travelling by motorcycle. Fortunately all of our riders are experienced, but the driveway was an adventure.

Initial impression was not great as we drove up to a bunch of work trucks in the driveway and were told we would have to wait to get in the home as crews were trying to fix the hot water heater. After notifying the office we were told that we should be able to go in the home within the hour. We were able to get into the home within the hour but soon after lost hot water. After 2 days of occasional hot water a good technician came out and serviced (cleaned) the hot water heater and we had hot water for the rest of the week. Only other issue was lint build-up in the dryer. My wife cleaned it out (picture available if requested). Had it gone unaddressed it could have caused a major fire. Home was beautiful and had plenty of space for our 3 families totaling 14 people (adults and teenagers). Loved the view of the mountains from the porch. Technology in the home was a bit difficult to get working but had enough success to watch TV and a few movies. Kitchen and dining space was perfect. Kitchen equipment was fantastic (even had a nice selection of spices and seasonings). Beds were comfortable and everyone slept with no complaints. Air conditioning also worked well and kept the house nice and cool. Location of the cabin was central to many different nature activities and we even ventured over to Eastern Tennessee on 2 of the days we were there. Gravel road prior to the house driveway could use some maintenance, some of the road had deep grooves from water drainage. WiFi was decent and good enough for our needs. Overall we had a great time and would definitely consider returning to Wildlife Manner in the future.

The home was outstanding. The kids had a blast barely even watched television except for a few of them. There was always something to do loved the fire pit at night and the hot tub. Great view in the living room close to everything will absolutely do this again.

Beautiful home. We experienced all weather conditions and it was amazing. The dust was excessive though. Many peoples allergies were uncomfortable and we had to clean to avoid anyone getting ill. Fans, stairways and behind all the doors. Even the carpet in the living room had air of build up. Other than that it was epic, memorable and definitely worth coming back.

The dryer door does not shut and the door is cracked, the beds were ok but not very comfortable. Also pillows were not comfortable. The House was dirty it needs a deep cleaning, kitchen cabinets were sticky as were counter tops the cabinets are falling apart and all the kitchenware besides silverware and dishes need to be replace, inadequate pots pans and skillets for cooking. Coffe pot was broken, refrigerator is great roomy and worked great. The game room had chips in the shuffle board, the movie room needs a deep cleaning , crumbs popcorn and sticky seats. The House appears very run down for the age. All in all our trip was amazing but definitely focus on cleaning.

We enjoyed our stay at Wildlife Manor with our family of 15. The house exceeded our expectations. The only negative thing we had was that the icemaker was not working in the refrigerator/freezer. One other recommendation I would make is to be sure there is an adequate number of trash bags for the trash container in the kitchen. Fortunately we brought some or we would have had a problem. However, the house was great, the view was great and our family had a great time.
