Very spoilt receiving home made brownies, jam and sourdough bread. Appreciated all those extra things like butter curls, freshly baked goods, fridge and pantry items and firewood. « Overall its a pretty good place, and with the animals and creek swimming hole, it really was a wonderful stay for my 10yr old grandson. But there were just a few things that may be need a re-think by the owners: 1. The main bedroom was extremely hot and it wasn't even hot weather - mid 20s. The fan in the room made no difference, and the A/C in the lounge had no impact. 2. There is a front and rear entrance to the house. « Cute, clean tidy with all modern amenities for an older cottage. Close 2 minute walk to beach, wild life amazing and surprisingly friendly. Neighbours are very nice and all residents are very friendly and make you very welcome to their island. Bowls club has awesome lunches with free pick u and drop off curtesy bus. Simply Devine »

« We stayed in the bowerbird cabin and it was magical. We’d go back in a heartbeat. The area was serene and there was wrap around windows, seeing the trees, hearing the birds and the rain drizzling the entire time felt like we were in another world. The ambiance of the warm lighting and little electrical imitation fire place was cosy and we spent many quiet moments snuggled together under a blanket on the couch in front of it. « We enjoyed our overnight stay at Christmas Creek Cafe & Cabins. The cabins were basic but clean, there was a small heater, enough to take the edge off the chill in the room and plenty of warm blankets provided. We made a small fire down by the creek and the kids loved playing in and around the creek. Was lovely to get away and disconnect from the everyday routine! »
