Le Studio 001 est niché à l'extrémité nord de la baie Aventuras Akumal dans le bâtiment A, à côté du complexe de villégiature Oasis Tulum et de la Casa Salvaje. Le Studio 001 dispose de la climatisation, d'un lit king-size, d'un canapé avec vue sur l'océan, d'une kitchenette bien équipée en granit avec comptoir bar et télévision par satellite à écran plat, d'une connexion Wi-Fi et d'une salle de bains privative avec douche et dressing. Studio 001 a également des portes coulissantes menant à son propre patio privé en bord de mer. Les clients du Studio 001 ont accès à la piscine, à des parasols et à des chaises longues à quelques pas de l’unité. Full Beach Club L'accès à toutes les installations n'est pas inclus.



À proximité, vous trouverez également le complexe commercial Hacienda Dona Isabela avec de nombreux magasins de souvenirs et un distributeur automatique de billets. Pour les golfeurs, le club de golf Riviera Maya est le parcours de golf le plus récent et le plus excitant de la Riviera Maya. Il y a tellement peu de studios en front de mer dans la région avec vue sur l'océan, en particulier sur une si belle plage. Studio 001 est vraiment un joyau caché!

This was the second year that we stayed for a month (Feb-March) and again, we were subject to daily renovation noise. Banging of hammers, chipping of tiles, bits of concrete littered the sand and patio in front of our Studio 1 apartment. Workers on site morning till late evening. Not very relaxing when your trying to enjoy the beach. Never again! I understand that other condos in the building may be renovated.This year, the sargassum on the beach was incredible - piled 3 - 4 feet high in places and extended into water, not making the ocean swimming very appealing.Before considering to book, check with the condo management company. From our experiences, we will look and book elsewhere.

Not for us but still deserves a high rating because the host was exceptional. They answered right away and were very helpful. The unit was exactly as pictured and right on the beach. A little too rustic and isolated for our taste, however. You need a car because there is not much around. Great spot if you’re looking for something basic and restful.

This was a fantastic place. Steps from the beach. Rita was wonderful and cleaned six days a week. Property management had quick responses with any of our needs. This is a hidden gem and I recommend to everyone who wants a quiet stay.

Being on the beach was the best! Being on/near a national park was lost on us. Was the park the turtle conservation?? If so that was extremely fascinating. The ability to snorkel from our condo to the reef was amazing. We saw all manner of marine life. Rita was great coming everyday to clean up - being on the beach means a lot of sand everywhere!!

What a great getaway! Private access to the beach and everything you need to feel at home. Security on site who were very friendly and helpful. Located near entertainment and food. Worth the stay and WOW, the view is truly amazing!!!!!!!!

Almost nothing can take away the 5 star rating

I've stayed at Aventuras Akumal 3 times, twice in this same studio unit. The primary reasons for my continued returns are (1)the location--not just the proximity to the beach which is a mere few feet from the studio, but the privacy this particular unit has because it is the last one on the row and set back from the others. Until they cut down the foliage next to the private villa next door, I had the feeling of being completely unseeable by others. (2) the perfectly appointed unit itself. I cook all my meals and did so with satisfaction and ease (3) the pool which is actually owned by the hotel is almost always empty and is kept exceptionally clean and is a good size and again--a few feet from this condo unit but not directly in front of it. True, the location is a bit remote. You won't be walking to the grocery store. Taxis are not cheap. Let me just say this about how much I love this place: It lost power to all units and I stayed there for 2 days anyway. The management was wonderfully accommodating and I declined their 1st offer of a different but comparable place at another location. Then, they offered me an unbelievably fantastic upgrade in Akumal Bay, and I accepted, but still did so reluctantly. What I'm saying is that I was willing to spend the rest of my month's stay there with no power, no lights, no water. That's how great this place is. Big, heartfelt thanks to Marcia, Alex and Rita for all that they did to make this yet one more great vacation. Wonderful!

Akumal spring break

I have stayed at this complex several times in the past. This was my first time in this unit. It is newly remodeled and very nice. I highly recommend. Our group was just me and my wife and 8 year old daughter. The unit is small but it was adequate for us. The king size bed was very comfortable. I would have preferred a second bed, but it worked out fine. Kitchen and bathroom were great. There is a Weber gas grill to use which was clean and operational. I would definitely stay here again. Where else can you get a ground floor condo on the beach. Excellent snorkling right off the beach!

Lovely Spot on Great Snorkeling Beach

We had a wonderful time at this property. Check in was easy, staff was friendly and helpful, location is awesome, bed is comfy, kitchen has everything you need, and we really appreciated the extras like beach chairs, floaties, and boogie boards. We can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing

Very nice. The end unit was in a wonderful location in the building, with great beach access. It was a comfortable ,safe setting. Snorkeling was very fun. There is a little restaurant down the beach, the Bikini Bar, that was very welcoming and good food. We did shop for our food, planning to prepare our own meals and found that the stove didn't work as well as expected but it did the job. Be sure to bring your own seasonings. We would definitely return to this location.

Lovely place right on the beach

Fantastic large condo right on the beach and far enough away from the adjacent hotel to avoid the noise. Walk straight out onto the beach and the swimming pool. Very well priced and I assume this is because it is a tiny bit tired, but that doesn't worry us. We stayed for six nights but wished it had been longer. When we went in early April there were a lot of sting rays close to the shore and the reef 50m out was great. Highly recommended.

A Dream Stay

The pristine studio, clean, well appointed and maintained, couldn’t have been closer to the beach w/out being underwater. You step from your bed to the patio, onto the sand. The ocean view coupled with the sound of crashing waves is like being in paradise. Everything you need or want is at hand. Some of the condos are privately owned and may account for the unfortunate eyesore of the adjoining balcony to my ground floor space: it was deteriorating and the side of my patio was littered with some trash, rotting wood, etc. Regardless of who owns it, I was disappointed that my patio was impacted to the degree that it was. The only other disappointment was the check in process. My driver nor the guard at the property entrance spoke English. I spoke no Spanish. We were turned away! Twice. I finally found the hard copy paperwork for my reservation, came back, and kept pointing to my name and the name of the property on the paper. He very reluctantly let me in but it felt like like it was a grudging act, about as far from feeling welcome as one could imagine. It would have been nice ( and expected, given the degree of security in place) if my name had been on his clip board. The hallway in the building itself was so dark that I couldn’t see the lockbox numbers without the ( inadequate) light from my phone. I was only able to navigate the lockbox and key by way of a kind and alert neighbor who got my door open. These were minor, passing inconveniences which in no way detracted from an exquisitely enjoyed vacation. I was so happy and so satisfied that I attempted to re- book the studio after my 1st few days there. No luck for this unit, but I am definitely returning. You’re in a residential area- there are no immediate options for any shopping, etc. without benefit of a vehicle. I took a taxi to the Buddha Garden Spa for a massage- maybe 10 minutes away- $40 round trip. There’s a restaurant/bar on the beach close by- fun place with wonderful food and good drinks. You use the hotel pool and while this listing was specific about all of the hotel amenities NOT being part of your rental, another listing for another unit that is privately owned said the exact opposite, suggesting that you can eat all of your meals there and so on. I cooked my own meals so didn’t test this . It’s quiet, private and an exceptional alternative to staying in one of those gigantic hotels. You really, really can’t go wrong here. It’s perfect. And safe!

Lol k’naab condo was perfect. It was so beautiful to stay right on the beach.

The sea breeze was delightful all through this open floorplan. What an amazing part of the world is Akumal and Half Moon Bay. I cannot wait to come back!!!

Studio is very clean and comfortable and features everything you need for self- catering.

Studio is tucked away in a private area of a larger condo complex - it seems some of the units are privately owned like this one and some belong to the Oasis AI next door. The pool unfortunately was full of AI guests and their children and was typically warm so we didn’t use it. We were always able to grab the palapa closest to the end of the property near the studio and away from the AI section which afforded a bit more privacy. The reef is incredible and there is a sandy entrance to the water. We did not get a car - it was easy enough to get a taxi at the AI or walk about a half mile to the collectivo. We stopped on the way in to grab groceries and the studio is well set up to do all kinds of meal prep. You can walk to the Beached Bikini Bar or the restaurant on top of Villas de Rosa or take a taxi into Akumal for meals out. The cleaning and maintenance people are friendly and fantastic - responding to any ? or needs. The AC is excellent at keeping the entire studio cool. The rain shower in the bathroom was refreshing. The patio is shaded a good portion of the day and is a good option for outdoor dining. If you can avoid and ignore the AI situation next door this is an excellent choice of accommodation.

Great Condo with Great Location

The condo was great as was the location. We would very likely stay here again if traveling just as a couple. With that said, the pool was not clean the first day to the point you could not see the bottom of the deep end (4ft). When we reached out to the management they were responsive, but the security guard who said the pool was his responsibility assumed that we did not speak Spanish and then proceeded to tell the management that we did not know what we were talking about. When we made it clear that we understood him, he tried to backtrack again. This is not the condo owners fault, but it did create a rough start to our vacation as we are both pool people. By the second day the water was better although never in the same condition as the pools around it. All in all, we had a great trip to Akumal which is one of our favorite vacation destinations.

NO WELCOME FOR US!

THE GOOD: Nice unit with good wifi and beach view. THE BAD: We rented this unit because: "The Studio is tucked away at the northern end of The Bay, next to the resort complex. A great perk of this property is that it offers guests access to the resort beach club facilities. These include sun loungers, the pool, and the resort beach front." Well that simply is not true! After unpacking we decided to go for a swim in the angular pool pictured in the VRBO ad. The pool was empty. No agua. OK, no problem so we head over to the resort pool which was part of the deal and are swarmed immediately by security guards, staff, then the concierge who demand our to see our wrist brands. They make a big scene that we do not have access to anything at the resort unless we pay a $52/day per person for day passes since it is an all-inclusive resort and we are not members. Period. No smiles. No wiggle room. Well, we are not going to do that since we already paid and who wants to hang around such an unwelcoming place. So we head back to our unit and wonder where we CAN go. Meanwhile resort staff and members play loud volleyball right in front of our unit so we could not sit out front or under the palapa that said it was for studio condominium guests... This happened every afternoon. Other issues ensued: Every time we arrived guards questioned and followed like we were trespassing. Don't they compare notes? Once we tried pay for a coffee at the resort and were again confronted by management when we couldn't produce wristbands. Went for a walk on the beach out front and told twice that the beach is closed "because of the Turtles." Every morning bags full of trash left in the hallway were ripped apart by animals by the evening. And the stove top is a terrible scalding waiting to happen. Finally, on our last night, the pictured pool was full and inviting so we took a dip but as the guards started swarming we hurried off before it could escalate and ruin the moment. So it ended like it began: Unwelcoming and tense. We had a great vacation but not in the Studio we rented or at the all-inclusive (except for us!) resort next door which was the selling point of unit. Oh, and Angel and Mary never did stop by as promised. IN CONCLUSION: The beach out front IS photogenic but not nearly as perfect for swimming as many others nearby. There are plenty of other properties & hosts that make you feel welcome and appreciated. This is not one of them.
