We will always make every effort to extend our in-house guests stays, but sometimes the bookings already made for the following day exceed out capacity to do this. What may have taken a bit of time was that we call all expected arrivals on the day to confirm their booking, and because of the number of expected arrivals due that day, the calls took a little longer than normal. Your comment about the property being dated is being addressed currently, as we have begun to refurbish both rooms and public areas. Unfortunately, it does take longer to accomplish in a working hotel that it would for a new build, but I assure you that we are working on it. Room upgrades are a fairly common occurrence in busy hotels, and I am delighted that we were able to accommodate you in a suite during your stay.Your comment regarding the airport pick up is being addressed through a series of meetings with the team situated at the airport as well as with the airport authorities.Thank you once again for your feedback. We are currently busy with substantial refurbishment and construction work at the hotel, which is the reason for the construction debris at the hotel entrance. We offer a pick-up from the airport, whether for local or international flights, but these have to be booked with reception prior to arrival. Please can you confirm that you requested a transfer so that I can investigate what went wrong.Our check-in time is from 2pm, and whilst we do check early arrivals into their rooms as soon as possible, the availability of rooms for early check-in is based on the previous nights' occupancy.
