Lower Slaughters is the best place in the Cotswolds, and the Country Inn atmosphere and staff have further contributed to our very relaxing stay there. We planned to go for more visits, but decided to seize the moment and stay a full-day enjoying the place to read, rest, do short walks to Bourton-on-the-water or the next door mill »

« The thought and care put into this Manor being so welcoming and different to others shines through the staff, the decor and of course the food. It was a pleasure to celebrate my husband's birthday there and we will definitely be back to stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay. »

« Beautiful property and views. Lovely room and great service with a setting to die for. It was such a hot weekend so unfortunately there were just fans in the rooms, no air con, which was a shame but understandable for the age of the property and the garden was a bit plagued with wasps which the staff did their best to keep at bay as we ate a beautiful meal outside and had breakfast outside the next day which was delicious. Great location for exploring the Cotswolds. »

« Accueil très chaleureux, de plus notre hôtesse parle français. Chambre claire, spacieuse, très confortable. Une vue imprenable sur la campagne anglaise, avec, au premier plan un beau verger. Tout est prévu pour que le séjour soit parfait. Un petit déjeuner à la carte qui s'adapte à toutes les gourmandises. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre hôtesse, de sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et son art de recevoir ! »

« It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. »

« The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require. The fridge was stocked with milk, a pack of bacon, a pack of cheese and wine. Fruits and homemade marmalade were also left for us. All very thoughtful and welcoming.
