Peaceful among the sequoia’s.
We stayed for 3 days and needed more but enjoyed the limited time we had. The cabin was comfortable and clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The office personnel were very pleasant.

Fun getaway with friends
Two old college friends and I had a fantastic stay at the cabin, exploring the valley and the mariposa grove. The cabin was great, comfortable and clean. Hanging out on the deck after a day of hiking was outstanding truly! Make sure you bring your own spices and oil for cooking or sugar for coffee!

Spacious and Comfy Cabin
We enjoyed our stay at Cabin 24 in the Redwoods in Yosemite. The cabin had several amenities. Decor is dated but the woodsy atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. Internet was reliable. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Tree roots made parking a bit challenging.

Cabin in Yosemite
We loved the openness in the cabin and the outside deck. Some basic necessities were missing. Salt, pepper, sugar and shampoo were needed to be brought in. Staff was very prompt to fix a broken toilet. We loved the fireplace. Great location in the park.

The cabin was great. It was missing a few minor things like salt & pepper, sugar, and paper products. Usually those things are provided to eliminate shopping for them prior.

Poor Communication - Horrible Fees
Our trip was very stressful as there was no communication on how we were to access our cabin even after repeatedly emailing the host and asking for several days prior to arriving. Barely stumbled on office before they closed at 5pm. Cabin was lovely, however heater did not work, and fees tacked on increased nightly fee to $548 - 40% more than advertised. Way overpriced with no communication.

Looking into this, you were emailed your confirmation letter on 8/17/2023 at 1:27PM upon booking to the email you put on file. These emails are sent automatically, and show that you viewed this email attachment. Upon asking us about the check-in instructions a few days prior, we let you know that the email was sent, and then re-sent it once more. We then also sent you your email over the VRBO messages just in case the email was incorrect and you were not receiving it, which unfortunately happens from time to time. We apologize if you did not receive the emails or the message sent. although the office closes at 5PM, late arrivals can easily access their packets with no issues in an easily accessible location shared in the booking confirmation. We again apologize for any miscommunication, or issues that you had during your stay. We strive for the best customer service and if you would like to reach out to talk to us about this further, we would be happy to! Issues like these are very few and far between, but we are always happy to discuss them for possible solutions! -The Redwoods In Yosemite Team

I was really nice but one thing it had Nothing for Cleaning off the counters. I Recommend at least. So paper towels And one Cleaning. bottle to wipe down the counters. Other than that everything was just great..

Great time in Yosemite NP
My family and I had an amazing time staying at Wawona cabin. We loved that the cabin was within the park limits, had a well appointed kitchen, was perfect size for our family of 5. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck after a day of hiking. The check in/out process was easy, the management company responded quickly when I emailed with questions before our stay. We would definitely go back.

Home was nice but parking was challenging. Large roots were exposed and no other place to park. Others had defined parking but this one did not.

Rustic, but good
Our family enjoyed Wawona Cabin. It was very clean, and the location was convenient with it being in the park but away from the crowds. There are even two short, beatiful hiking trails right down the road. Two things you should know: 1. There is no A/C. There are windows with screens you can open, as well as ceiling fans, but it will get stuffy in the summer. 2. There is no shower in the master bathroom, only a tub. Granted, the tub is nice, but its not always convenient. If you want to quickly rinse off, you'll have to use the lone shower that's adjacent to the other bedroom.

Beautiful home in the woods
We loved this home with it's large, private deck. It was very quiet and private, despite being near other homes. Staying in the park made it very convenient to visit all that the park had to offer.

Perfect location for Yosemite Stay
We love, love, love the location of this cabin! In addition to all that Yosemite Valley has to offer this location had a wonderful waterfall in its back yard. We enjoyed lunch at ghe Wawona Hotel where the service was excellent. The cabin itself was nice. The heater was broken in the second bedroom and the TV was too small for the space but we enjoyed our stay overall.

Cute cabin just big enough for 6 adults
We had a great time with beautiful views, cabin had everything we needed. Although the burning wood was wet we were able to eventually get the fireplace going. Quiet setting and not to far from the valley floor.

Great Vacation!
My family and I stayed at the Wawona cabin for two nights and we had an amazing time. The process of checking in was simple and straight forward. The cabin was cozy and clean when we arrived. We especially loved the environment of being in the forest but still having the comfort of a grocery store and gas station a few minutes away. My family and I would definitely stay here again when we visit Yosemite in the future.

Nice size house, clean, nice quiet area (even with other cabins close by), great deck and ceiling fans were a definite plus for a summer rental.

Cute Cabin Stay in Yosemite.
The cabin was very cool. It’s great that pets are allowed although we did not take any. I loved our stay. Would recommend it to others. The cabin does not have A.C so it was pretty hot on some days. Also parking was tight. But overall it was amazing and I am glad we stayed.

Great stay
This home was clean and well kept. The view from the deck and big windows was beautiful. Within walking distance there's a neighborhood shop that stocks food and supplies for a reasonable price and there's also a beautiful waterfall. Yosemite valley was about a 40 minute drive down a windy road and we loved our day in the valley. The Redwoods were a short drive from the home and a must see. We would stay here again!

REAL Cabin and great location
The Redwoods at Yosemite run a great operation. The Cabin is dated, but it actually gives the place some character and made it more enjoyable. Everything is very clean, and they leave you propane in the grill! Great deck to hang out on. It was 100 degrees during the day so we brought up 2 air conditioners with us and it was a good thing we did. The river is 12 minutes from the cabin and it’s beautiful and refreshing.

Peaceful visit to Yosemite
The cabin is spacious and well equipped. It was very clean though as mentioned by others the bedding is a little old and should be replaced. We enjoyed spending time on the deck. The management company responded immediately when we reported a problem with the heaters. The setting is very peaceful and provided a great place to stay while seeing the wonders of Yosemite. I can also recommend the local Chilnualna Falls which is within walking distance.

Fireplace is amazing! with plenty of wood available. Deck nice and big with a propane BBQ that worked well and plenty of seating. Was looking forward to using the spa tub, but the hot water supply ran out very quickly, so unable to soak in the tub. Asked front desk to have someone check it but, unfortunately, didn’t change anything and didn’t get feedback.

We really enjoyed our stay in cabin 24. We arrived late so we didn’t meet any of the staff but the late check in process worked well. Our only contact with staff was dropping off the keys which was great. The cabin was comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen. I really appreciated all of the firewood that was ready to go and the deck made for a great place to store our bikes when it snowed and we were unable to use them. The accommodations were great for our dog who enjoyed the deck. I also thought it was really great that they had left a dog/cat dish under the sink for guests to use. The cabin definitely shows it’s age. When we arrived there were stains on the carpets, a picture was broken, the couches had signs of wear on them, bedding is dated, and the tub was a bit dirty. But for those renting please remember this is not a hotel it’s a rental property. That being said none of these things changed how much we enjoyed the cabin. It would be great if there were more trash bags and toilet paper available in the unit especially for guests staying more that 2-3 nights. We really enjoyed the location and the proximity to the valley. We are hoping to make Yosemite an annual trip and we think cabin 24 would be a great spot to make that happen.

Rustic Cabin Retreat
The best part about the cabin is the location in the park and walking distance to the river to cool off in the summer heat. The cabin itself is old with stained carpet, old furniture, kitchen and bathrooms. There is no air conditioning so do not expect to relax in the cabin in the heat of the day. The deck was nice when it finally cooled off in the evenings. It served our purpose as we were mainly there to explore Yosemite so did not spend much time in the cabin. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to prepare a nice dinner including a propane Outdoor grill but be aware the is no dishwasher. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Even the dogs loved it!
Great cabin with enclosed deck. Made it easy to stay with my two dogs without worrying they would bolt out into the wilderness. Cabin was very comfortable for all of us. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to travel to Yosemite with dogs!

Distances in the Park were long, so it was a drive to most major sites, but you are within the park boundaries, so you won't have to battle the entrance line every day. Cabin was clean and stocked with essentials. There's a small general store a block away and gas station about a mile away. Don't miss Chilualna Falls....a short uphill hike from the cabin.

Great cabin. Had everything we needed. Local hikes were great especially the lower falls.
Good location, easy to find and staff were very helpful when our friends accidentally locked their bedroom door and we didn’t have a key. BBQ worked great and gated deck was great for our dog. Had a great time!

Magical Wawona- Location location location!!!
The location really cannot be beat and the community of Wawona is truly special! The staff at the Inn are very friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was clean and cute but pretty bare-bones. If you need any spices or paper products such as tissues or napkins bring your own. Also extra hand towels for the kitchen would be wise to bring. The beds and bedding are very worn and need replacing stat! Aside from these items, we had a great experience. Tom is incredibly friendly as are all the folks who manage the property. We would love to return but will be sure to pack our own comfy blankets and pillows.

Great cabin! Will come again!
Perfect cabin for a little get away with your family. Has queen sofa bed, master bedroom with queen bed and attached bath with jacuzzi tub. The other bedroom had a twin and queen bedroom with a hallway bath nearby. Our family enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to others. There are also board games in the coffee table. We didn’t discover this until our second night there. Enjoy!

Loved this Cabin!
All worked out well for us, family of 4, two daughters 17 and 22. With 95 degree days, the first thing we did was open the windows, (thank heaven for cool nights) and closed them during the day. We were there for three nights. Arrived late day 1. Hiked day 2 and 3, returning after dinner. Day 4 we hiked and then headed north from the valley. Therefore we never got to use the grill but we thoroughly enjoyed the deck for a night cap, and morning coffee and breakfast. No restaurants near by other than Big Trees (that had lackluster reviews). We did drive to Tenya lodge for dinner. So so. The cabin is in a good location to get to Glacier Point and Sentinel Dome. Also The Valley is only about 25 miles, just slow going so it takes 45 min. Would love to come back and check out the Wawona area more. We would definitely recommend this place.

Cozy cabin inside of Yosemite NP (Wawona)
We enjoyed the cabin, it was a perfect amount of space for two adults and one teenager. The spacious deck was a plus, we enjoyed some dinners out there once it cooled off in the evening. It took us about 45 minutes to drive to Yosemite Valley from the cabin, when there was no traffic. The reason I didn't give the cabin 5 stars is that some features seemed dated and like they could use some upgrading. For example, the furniture (chairs, couch, beds) while comfortable, seemed worn and in need of replacement. Also, the 2nd bathroom does not have a shower (only a whirlpool tub) which was a disappointment. Not all of the burners on the stove worked, which was a problem for making dinners. The people at the Redwoods Management office (right down the road) were very helpful and friendly, which was a plus. Also, the river is very accessible via a short walk from the cabin for hiking and relaxing. We also appreciated the well-stocked mini-market, a short drive from the cabin. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

Clean, Quiet and Comfortable
This property was easy to find, very clean and spacious. Large deck with multiple seating options and grill. Kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, etc. Careful to be sure the stovetop burners are off - they're a little tricky. Great place to stay.

Comfortable, quiet cabin in the woods
Other cabins are nearby, but the location is peaceful and a short walk from the river and the laundry. The general store (small, with only the essentials) is a few hundred yards further. The cabin was well-equipped, spacious and ideal for two couples - an evening drink on the deck with the birds was delightful. Best of all is the proximity to one of the best hikes in Yosemite - to Upper Chilnualna Falls.
