« Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area. »

« It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. »

« The Coach House is a lovely property with incredible views. The property was immaculate and lots of consideration given to travellers. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I loved the upside down style and it did not affect the views. The house is cosy and welcoming at the end of a long day. Chris has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Chris x »

« The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! »

« Staying on a platform with occasional steam trains passing by. Wonderful experience. Cottage is well equipped and close to Llangollen and Corwen for shops. Having the beds made as double requires some gymnastics as headroom is limited in the converted loft. Overall a lovely place to stay and well recommended. In addition we chatted to the signalman and he happily gave us a tour of the signal box. »

« Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com »
