We had two rooms both of which were immaculately clean and very comfortable We ate in the bar and the food was tasty they also offered a complimentary breakfast which was excellent I would recommend it and will stay again if we are in the area »

« It was too cold in this hotel, the heater started at 5 pm and stopped around 9 pm. And then from 6 am until 9 or 10 am, so it wasn't enough for this kind of room in a this kind of hotel with bad insullation, only a simple glass window. The maximum temperature was 14°C. I sleept with pullover !!! And particulary in the shower room with only 12 to 14 °C I will never be in this hotel. »

« Only stayed for the night, room was big, clean and comfortable, lovely view of the river. Hotel is a lovely old building with character, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. »

« Très confortable. Un restaurant agréable à coté. Seule problème (pour l’hôtel, pas pour moi) une fuite à la salle de bains avec un gaspillage de l'eau chaude. Ce qui j'ai reporté à l'accueil. AWM . »

« Grande chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, wifi. Grand parking pas de problème pour trouver une place. Grand choix pour le petit-déjeuner. Si la chambre donne sur la route il peut y avoir un peu de bruit car passante à vitesse assez élevée. »

From the moment we arrived our host Pam made us more than welcome even allowing us to take part in their Burns night that they had on that evening . If you’re visiting this area and are lucky enough to get a room this has got to be the best place to stay . »

« endroit charmant, isole dans une campagne magnifique. L'hotel a du charme mais le confort n'est pas top. Pas de place prévue pour les valises dans la chambre peu spacieuse, pas d'endroit confortable pour s'asseoir ,juste quelques chaises devant la réception . Restaurant, nourriture pas raffinée mais prix assez chers. Petit déjeuner correct. Extérieur joliment fleuri. »

« Belles prestations, chambre atypique, check in autonome tres pratique, belle décoration, plusieurs équipements, seul bemol nous avons trouvé une paire de chaussettes sale derrière les rideaux face au bureau , mais dans l'ensemble rien à dire, tres beau cadre »

« Everything sorted when we arrived. When we had a problem with cooker timer host arranged for an electrician to check asap…on a bank holiday weekend. Hosts very welcoming. Although ‘no housekeeping’ is stated this is the second time we have stayed for more than a week and sheets. And towels have been changed. »
