« We had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive. »

Chambre extrêmement petite d autant plus que le petit dejeuner est livré dans cette piece il faut manger assis dur le lit ce qui n est pas du tout pratique. Dommage car il est excellent malgre le manque du typique egg and bacon

« Cet hôtel est très bien placé pour visiter la cathédrale de Winchester de même que la vieille ville. L’hôtel n’est pas neuf, mais les chambres sont grandes et confortables. De plus le quartier est calme bien que central. Seul bémol : l’hôtel n’est pas climatisé et il faisait plus de 25C lors de notre passage. Le ventilateur était bien utile. »

Not to mention that I had to wait outside for nearly an hour and a half as someone else had taken my room and I had not been given any information on how to enter the property keys, et cetera. Once I finally got hold of The guy in charge, he was not very pleasant to deal with or very welcoming.

« From the pictures on the site, it indicated that toileries would be provided. But there was none to be seen. Initially had problems getting into my room, because the no. received was incorrect. Contacted the Office and this was corrected immediately. The no.19a bus goes to the 'Shirley' area, just ask the driver to put you off at the Howard Road bus stop. Take the 1st left and you are on Howard Road and the Guest House is on the right. The full address of your premises needs to include...

A côté, ce trouve le zoo de marwell mais il peut également être un bon pied à terre pour qui ceux qui comme nous rereviennent de paulton parc ( peppa pig )
Le parc se trouve à environ 30 m en voiture
Le parking de l hôtel est gratuit
L accueil et la remise des clefs a été très rapide
Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 4
Celle-ci était composé d un lit double et de 2 lits superposés
La chambre n était pas grande mais d une propreté très correcte...

« The Plough is in a very picturesque area and is also very conveniently situated and easy to get to. The room was comfortable and the pub itself had a friendly feel with an excellent menu. Beside quite a busy road but it was quiet at night. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
