Nos maisons d'hôte de charme à Southampton

« Very clean. Host was excellent. »

« Stayed at Darwin House and the experience was pretty poor. The room I originally booked was already being used by another guest, with her belongings everywhere, so I was moved to Room 1. The phone number provided for help wasn't even in service at the time. The property itself is filthy - the room was just about liveable for one night, but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets. It feels more like a bedsit or HMO than proper guest accommodation. The rooms smell strongly of mould and...

« Horrendous. Oven was so dirty it couldn't be used. Room has one mug, one towel, one pillow - two of us staying. Dirty sponges left at the sink, clearly used multiple times. Bed was horrific, worst mattress I've ever slept on, very old, bed falling apart, not even a full size double. Husband and I are very average in size I had to try and sleep either end of the bed - didn't help due to the noise of other residents all night. Fridge not cleaned, food still in there from last person.Young men...

« Was dirt Pillows were old and tatty and we woke with neck ache Was only one cup that was cracked , no spoons to make a drink , towel was tiny more of a hand towel Bed had bits in and stain on quilt cover Set of drawers had screws sticking out and no handles The place was noisy and has drug gas calendars outside the front door There was constant banging from upstairs We didn’t sleep . There was no microwave Wouldn’t stay ever again and put me of the Experian website We only used...

« Bonne situation. Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire aux petits soins pour ses clients :-) Très bon petit déjeuner anglais. Dommage que la connexion wifi n'était pas top après un moment. »

« Check-in is after 5pm...extremely late while other hotels Re much earliee. I was only given the code almost at the time for Check-in. No communication if needed. »

« First of all, there was no staff or anyone to welcome you. We reserved a room with a private bath, and when we arrived we had been assigned a different room with no private bathroom. The shared bathroom available was filthy and the linoleum was coming off the floor. The bedroom was dirty as well and the beds were like cots, horrible mattresses. We tried to reach property owner with no avail. They never responded to any of our inquiries. Within 15 mins, we booked a room at local hotel and left...

« Avoid this place! > We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived to check in, it turned out our room had been given to someone else. The host was completely unreachable and ignored all our calls and messages. We were left stranded without a place to sleep. Very unprofessional and unreliable. »

« A nice room and good location for public transport into Southampton by Train or Bus. Convenient Co-Op and choice of take away food shops. I felt that some small changes would have raised my score, including: Toilet Seat properly fixed. Sufficient crockery and cutlery for 2 people, including glasses, desert spoons (there were none) dinner plates. TV (there is an aerial socket) Toaster Small changes, make a big difference. »
