Il pleuvait littéralement dans la salle de bain lorsque la pluie a débuté. Le déluge. Beaucoup de tâches, de saleté partout dans la chambre. Traces sur les draps. Pas de room service disponible le soir (18h30). Pas de place au restaurant ouvert sur le resort. Charge 25$ us pour le room service. Lait caillé dans la chambre. Détecteur brisé qui a sonné pendant des heures au minute. Chambre épouvantable. Heureusement, belle plage et installation à la plage. Personnel gentil. Pour le prix, c'est une déception totale.

Séjour de 3 nuits dans une chambre à l'étage supérieur. Les piscines de l'établissement sont magnifiques ! On se croirait en pleine nature ! La chambre est très jolie et la terrasse spacieuse. Seuls bémols, il fait très sombre (lumière indispensable en pleine journée) et la climatisation est peu efficace.

Excellent séjour
10 jours passés à curaçao. Une totale découverte pour nous. Cette île est magnifique l eau est juste incroyablement turquoise la ville de Willemstad est étonnante par ses couleurs magnifiques, très propre. Île beaucoup plus sud américaine qu antillaise . Nous avons adoré notre voyage et recommanderons cette île tellement différente de nos Antilles !

Un bémol! Si vous êtes près de la plage, difficile d’avoir de la sérenite. Il y a beaucoup de partys et la musique est très forte avec beaucoup de base.

Hôtel top, tout est parfait dans un environnement exotique, accueil très agréable, maisons tropicales, plage un peu petite, restaurant sur la plage super. Pour aller vers la ville en 10mns, bus locaux à proximité. Séjour super agréable. A recommander.

Superbe hôtel
Très bel hôtel encore plus beau que sur les photos, notre chambre était impeccable et donnait sur la piscine, l'hôtel est très fleuri de quoi se sentir vraiment en vacances. Tout est en bois ce qui donne du charme à l'établissement mais en effet on peut entendre les femmes de ménage faire leur travail le matin dans les chambres et si vous avez des voisins bruyants il y a de forte chance que vous les entendiez. Le personnel est charmant, nous avons pu entrer dans notre chambre dans la matinée alors que l'heure prévue était 15h. 2 fois par jour une navette gratuite est à disposition pour aller dans un supermarché du coin. L'hôtel n'est pas très loin du centre-ville, il y a des arrêts de bus qui permettent de s'y rendre tout près de l'hôtel il faut compter 1,5 $ par personne.

Super cadre, artificiel mais plaisant! Musique des bars de la plage un peu forte le soir pour ceux qui veulent dormir tranquile mais bonne ambiance (hollandaise) pour ceux qui veulent veiller... Super accueil et services pour l'hôtel avec un magnifique jardin tropical.

The Kontiki resort exceeded my expectations, my friend and I enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back. The food was wonderful, and there were many options with the small town that was walking distance next to the resort. The service was a bit slow and took forever to pay which was a bit frustrating but everything else was great.

The stay was amazing and the beach front property was great. The food could have been better but it was decent. We ate lunch at Cabana's the first day. On the second night we ate at Boca's, my husband loved his food however I wasn't too impressed with mine. For Mother's Day we at at Bliss, the food and the presentation was nice! Our luxury suite was spacious and conveniently located within walking distance to everything. We were warned ahead of time with the music from the pool party and other parties going on however, it wasn't bad. But if you're a light sleeper it could cause a problem for you. We were not told of the foul sewage smell that comes from the drains in both the sink and shower. So much so that we had to to plug the drains in the sink. We made the mistake of opening the stoppers in the sink when we left and came back to a horrible odor. Quickly realized why the drains were initially closed upon our arrival. We were not briefed on that part. Other than the drain smell, our stay was wonderful. The reception staff communicated fast and effectively via WhatsApp answering all of the questions that I had throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

This property has to be the WORST establishment I have ever stayed at! When I say rude, passive & dismissive staff. I had paid for an excursion and sent the staff my location I was going to so my cab could be called by them. They disregarded my request and had the cab drop me to a different excursion company they tried to sell to me. The cab sped off and left me which then at that moment I realized this was not the company I booked, this one was closed. I was then STRANDED on the side of the road sitting on the sidewalk in the sun, as a tourist! Thank God my boyfriend was with me, if not I don’t know what type of danger I would have been in. After an hour of waiting I finally found my own ride back to the hotel (dangerous, but I was drained and ready to just end my last day). Be advised I now missed my excursion to which I had already paid for. Once back at the hotel you would think they would be apologetic, the manager never once came out to speak to me they ( he or she) kept playing telephone with the staff behind a thin wall I would hear. Service there was horrible, you would wait 30-40mins before any would even acknowledge you at the bar. At one point my boyfriend waited 45 mins for his drink to be brought back AFTER the food was already delivered. The last day my frustration was just through the roof and I guess staff seen that once I asked a bar tender to acknowledge me after 25 mins standing and waiting— his response was the finger , as in WAIT ! DO NOT BOOK! Run!

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at Kon Tiki but there were a few issues. The bedding was old and bumpy. The toilet was not properly secured to the ground. The staff however were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice but needs renovations.

The resort overall is nice, but the rooms , run away! Very old, really dirty and very bad poop smell! They vane to clean and check the room twice, but nothing to do! Very humid and water floating under the floor in the bathroom! Bed sheets dirty! The are really not confortable, they put 2 beds together to make a sleep for 2 ppl, so kinda had to sleep separate from my husband! Each person has a blanket, so you can’t share with your partner, you sleep separate! Very disappointing for the price asking! Not worth it! Thank God i booked on a different resort for the rest of a week. Much much better, for less money!

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The only areas for improvement would be there was no vent fan in the bathroom and no shower curtain allowed water to splash on the bathroom floor. They need to install a dresser with drawers to put clothing as clothes storage was somewhat limited.

We messed and thought that the luxury beachfront room would give a view of the ocean from the bed (without leaving the room). The beachfront rooms are on the ground level, and people from the beach constantly walk by your entrance and sometimes mistake it for a public bathroom door. The room was still absolutely beautiful though. Second thing (and MOST important for us). The outlets in the room are European. If you’re American, bring an outlet adapter or ask for them as soon as you get there. Also, there was a huge issue with us not having ANY washcloths/bath cloths to wash our body with. There were numerous towels, but no washcloths. The front desk said that we would have to wait until the next morning to get cloths because they have a shortage AND Dutch people don’t use wash cloths. I informed them that we were not Dutch (shouldn’t matter) and we use washcloths to bathe daily! For a high end luxury stay, that was no excuse. Long story short, they made it right and we had 3 new wash cloths every morning for the rest of our 5 night stay! Thank you. Lastly, if you want to have a quiet, romantic/relaxing night, this may not be the place for you. We were warned in advance so I bought a white noise machine. Had I not done that, I would’ve been very irritable. This location is beside two of the busiest beach clubs. The music lasts until 2-3am for two nights a week. The resort gives you earplugs, but just informing you in advance. Overall, staff are nice and it’s a nice resort.

We had a very pleasant stay. I had two rooms. A tropical room for my kids and a beach front room for myself and my husband. Both rooms were amazing. I paid more for the beachfront room but it was worth the extra cost. You will read reviews about hearing the music from the beachfront rooms and yes you do hear it. It goes until 2:00 am. We were able to sleep through it but it is very loud. There are a variety of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The hotel provides a shuttle to the local market which I recommend you do to get drinks and snacks. The hotel has amazing snorkelling right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is kept very clean. We will definitely be back!

Staff was wonderful. Only issue would be the bed. It is supposed to be a king size bed but it’s 2 twins pushed together so you have a big dip in the middle of the bed. Lots of good dining options within walking distance

The luxury suites were perfect for our honeymoon. Easy access and lovely beach with reserved beds, water, and fruit every day. The resort was easy to find and good location to downtown and the rest of the island. Biggest downside which we will not stay at the resort next time is there are VERY loud beach club parties every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It sounded like the DJ was in our room and was playing until 1or 2am making it very hard to sleep. Great resort, just stinks that 3 nights a week you can get very little sleep.
