« The house is in a great location and has beautiful lake views! We had a great time staying here with our friends for a long weekend. Close to many state parks with beautiful hikes, no shortage of waterfalls and wineries. The property has private well water so took a little creative showering with our group of 7 and the hot water wasnt working the first night but it was an easy fix and the hosts were quick to respond. »

« Perfect location for the wineries that we like to spend time at. This house is one of the best houses that we have stayed at over the many years of coming up to Seneca Lake. The house has everthing you could need and is so clean and comfortable. One of my favorite things is that there are so many great spots to sit outside and relax and see the lake. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. »

« The place was clean. However, there was a note that said they can't guarantee the bedding was clean, and also to save sheets for the next guest? That was very off putting from the start. And the bed was covered in a plastic bag that was noisy whenever you moved. Although the place was somewhat secluded, there were no shades or curtains for privacy and to block the early morning sun. The water had a strong sulfur smell and not drinkable. Fortunately I had bottled water in the car. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! The place was comfortable and clean. It’s very close to Keuka State Park, which was a great place for short hikes. We also visited a couple local wineries, but we visited in the off season so many were only open on the weekends. The only thing that wasn’t great was the sulfur taste and smell in the water. The brita pitcher provided helped a lot. We would definitely stay again. »

« Painted Quail is absolutely a five star. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is amazing, the view is spectacular and the finger lakes are a must see! Our weather was gorgeous and we had an absolutely wonderful 31st wedding anniversary. Will definitely be returning in the spring. »

« This spot was so cute, the owner was very kind and responsive. The location was close to all the activities that we had planned. The only minor complaint is that we were not able to take showers here. We luckily had family friends close by that we took showers at their home. The water in the cottage was very foul smelling. Possibly the well needed to be cleaned or treated. That was the only complaint. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay especially the lake view and fire pit. »

« The house was fantastic. It was well stocked, very clean, and the welcome basket was a very nice surprise. We have been to the Finger Lakes 4 years in a row now and this location was perfect for all of the wineries around Pan Yan.The only thing that was different was that there were zero tv’s in the house. It does say it in the description of the house house, but it was odd. Overall this is a great place to stay, well worth the price, and we would definitely stay there again. »

« We had my best friends Bachelorette party here. She wanted a relaxing stay by the water and that's what this was. Plenty of room for all 10 of us to be cozy and hang out. We loved the doc and were able to have our sunrise cruise pull up right to us ! Beautiful sunrises every morning and a nice place to make a meal. It was a great experience and a beautiful relaxing, peaceful time celebrating our friend! »
