« Clerk at check in was a grump. First automatic entry do was in a state of needing repair. Odd front desk location, no line of sight to greet guests. Requested some minor service which wasn’t handled well. Coffee pod restock (no decaf). No coffee cups. Kleenex box was empty. Towels and soap removed. Towels were not replaced. Breakfast buffet was good though not great. »

« Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. »

« This is a perfect place for 2 people for a visit in Madison, IN. Contactless check-in/check-out was seamless, the room was spotless, parking was available right in front of the building and close to all Madison has to offer. It is similar to a small studio apartment, meaning it does not have a separate bedroom, but is divided by the faux fireplace. One thing we would have liked in the kitchenette would have been a toaster. Other than that, it had what we needed(coffee, microwave, smaller...

« We travel with a pet, so you never know what to expect in a room, but our unit was clean with absolutely no odor from previous pets. There were a few repairs needed but minor things like patching ceiling post previous water damage. The only thing I missed was a hair dryer but would probably been given one had I bothered to ask. Beds were comfortable and price was very reasonable even with $25 pet fee. Would stay again. »
