« Location is fantastic, but the parking is in the back above the cottages. If you are mobility challenged, this is an issue going back and forth to the car. There are a lot of steps from the parking area and down where the cottage is. you are walking distance to the whole downtown area (watch out for the sidewalk in front of the Brown County Courthouse, it is in terrible need of repair if you use a walker) »

« There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean. The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside. My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. « This place is everything you need if you have a big group looking to do a trip to Louisville. All the amenities and games are amazing. Very close to downtown as well. Host is willing to help book tours and any recommendations you would need. »

« Overall not impressed with the cleanliness throughout the buildings, floors not swept/mopped, animal droppings found in multiple cabinets, critter heard inside the lodge at night, etc.Several bedrooms did not have privacy (one shared with laundry right off kitchen and had no door, another bedroom had glass french doors) Would have been helpful to see this in photos for planning purposes. « Our family had a great time. The open floor plan made it easy to see and communicate. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved the swing set and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was not that far to restaurants and the downtown area. We will definitely stay again!! »
