« This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences! »

« We enjoyed our stay. Location was good. The breakfast was lacking. The coffee was awful, no juice at all the machine ran clear liquid. We purchased a drink out of the machine. Our room smelled musty; however, I think it was from the air conditioner unit. Our stay wasn't awful it was fine and we managed. We drove to McDonald's every morning. »

« I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I booked my room almost two weeks in advance and requested a top-floor room before check-in because I'm a light sleeper. When we arrived, the front desk told us every top-floor room was sold out, so we were placed on the first floor. What really bothered me was seeing guests who checked in after us getting rooms on the top floor. That made it feel like our request and early reservation...
