« The house was very dirty upon arrival. All items such as kayaks and toys were all very old and dirty, no work was done upon arrival, floors were dirty, there was a bunch of cob webs in windows. We were told there would be toiletries and there was only half a roll of toilet paper provided. « Immaculately clean and well setup. Very cozy with the gas/propane stove. Owners came over. Very accommodating and friendly. Situated on a pond with canoes and a boat available. No cell or internet connectivity but a very private relaxing atmosphere »

« The Lakeside Lodge is amazing. Beautifully crafted in traditional Adirondack great camp style. The location is perfect… far enough away from heavy tourist areas, but close enough to enjoy the shopping and fine restaurants. The owners are very friendly. We really enjoyed meeting them and can’t say enough about their hospitality. We will definitely try to make it back for another stay. »

« This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock.
