« We stayed there for one night as we passed through the area on our travels. It is a charming hotel. We had a king studio that was located upstairs. I walk with a cane and there is no elevator so that was the only down side. The studio room was large and immaculately clean. It had a huge flat screen smart tv and a very comfortable couch. There was a small dining table and 2 chairs. The room had both a jetted tub and a shower. The coffee maker did not work but there was coffee in the lobby....

« The only thing better than the cabin, location and amenities was JP's kindness and hospitality. We visited at the very end of the season - just in time for snow and freezing temps. JP made sure that we were familiarized with the island, and comfortable every step of the way. Our dogs LOVED having the freedom to explore the island without being on a leash. The electric boat was an added bonus to get to the mainland to do some hiking. JP even sent us a blog he wrote about the best nearby hiking...

« An amazing getaway! This is a quiet, peaceful spot to visit and relax in the outdoors. The trails on/ near the property are beautiful to hike along. The cabins and dome are clean and the beds are really comfortable! Each is so unique. The kayaks, paddle boat, and row boats available gave us lots to do! (If you have young kids, I suggest bringing your own life jackets). The host is easy to communicate with and responsive. It is obvious when you are there he is working to make this spot even...

« If you're looking for a unique, fun and very relaxing place to stay, you've found it! We stayed in the main cabin in September 2025 and were thrilled with its rustic charm. We enjoyed so many activities both on the island and in the surrounding area which felt like a nostalgic step back in time.
