The Cook there for Dinner at the Overlook Dining and the Tavern is excellent! Food was amazing, Best Bavarian Pretzel I ever had, best nachos I ever had, Amazing Salmon with Citrus Glaze on Farro. My Chicken Sandwich was slightly overcooked but good. My husband's steak was excellent and Tavern burger and home made chips always good. ...

« I would like to give a 5 Star Review. The room was clean, nicely decorated and roomy. Everyone was friendly and the staff was great. Also the amenities were outstanding.However, the write-up said "You'll have breathtaking lake views from both inside and outside of your cabin." This was more than a bit of a stretch. The view was mainly the green roof tops of the cabins below. Never the less we appreciated being there (a nostalgic reminder of the original Big Moose Inn) and had a good time. »

« Perfect beautiful place for my husband and I with our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Maggie. Wi-Fi was on and off, required resetting a couple of times. But, we loved the peace and quiet. Was perfect for exploring trails in the area. Moss Lake Trailhead was our favorite. Perfect between Old Forge and Inlet. It was across the road and a little walk from Big Moose Lake and the pic of the gazebo. and the gazebo and docks need some repair. Construction occurring and we just kept away from the area....
